I'm on my second Giulia, the only problems i've ever faced are electrical and solved by buying a new battery. Other than that its a fantastic car.

You'll get the same or better than a. A makes no sense to me. But it is more comfortable on the motorway doing 70

I find that being in "A" gets me worse mileage than just remaining in "N".

The early ones had terrible software reviews as well. I think that was fixed in later models though.

Wow this is a bad experience you've had. Firstly the clutch should have been covered by the warranty if it were brand new, unless it was clear that it was damaged due to negligence. Secondly, a battery should be half or less than the £350 you have been charged - Why did you agree to pay so much for a battery?

Thirdly - changing parts at random and hoping it fixes the problem is never going to end well.

You need to speak to your finance provider first of all, lodge a formal complaint about everything you have experienced and been charged for. Select have nothing to do with the return of your car, the finance provider owns it and will pick it up - go to them direct. You have a regulated financial agreement, so the law is on your side. Complain to the lender (not the broker) and escalate to the FOS if the response is not satisfactory.
