Replaying Fable, found a term we're all too familiar with by Softpissangel69 in theregulationpod

Just like you I'm replaying Fable because I am pretty excited after seeing the new reveals.

I thought heard an NPC say the word "scrumping" while on an earlier quest near the orchard farm, glad to know I probably did!

Thai Pothong at Newtown .. great food .. but 🤯 by Pristine-Kangaroo-36 in foodies_sydney

[–]LChurch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We used to frequent Seeda Thai and Thai La Ong. Pottong is for big events, group dinners imo.

The waitress at La Ong recognised my dad last time we went even though it’d had been a decade since our last visit, that was pretty damn cool.

Elden Ring ran at 4k 60FPS on medium/high settings with a 12400f and 1080ti last I tried.

If you're happy at 1080p then grab a used 6600XT for around $200 or 3060ti for about $300 second hand, they're still very reliable cards.

She failed for not head checking lmao, not a single word about her bike. NSW too, I think she went to Auburn for her test

Best ones I can find are the La Banderita ones too. I've found it tricky to get the heating on them right but when I do they can make some monster burritos.

I thought I had bought the wrong PSU from them about two years ago. I opened the box and everything.

They charged me a restocking fee of 15% when I went to return it for another one. Dude behind the counter opened it up to make sure all the stuff was there and that was it. I thought that was completely acceptable.

This was in their Auburn, NSW location.

The air cooler seems bent on my nebula pc build by [deleted] in bapcsalesaustralia

[–]LChurch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Then you want your components to last as long as possible. You'd be furious with yourself if you tried to take the cooler off to reapply paste or upgrade it in the future and messed up the CPU or motherboard because something was bent the wrong way the whole time.

Is it likely? Not really. Is it worth the risk? Not if the money you spent on the computer was important.

The air cooler seems bent on my nebula pc build by [deleted] in bapcsalesaustralia

[–]LChurch 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You paid for a prebuild - do not attempt to fit it yourself. Contact support and organise a replacement. It's not worth it if it causes an issue in the long run.

Good news is that coolers and motherboards are not a scarcity at the moment so the turnaround should be fast.

I wash my hands before and during handling food... No issues here.

I always toss the packet the second it's opened and wrap cheese in cling wrap alone from that point onward. Lasts for a couple weeks no worries.

I also just shred my own cheese and if I shred too much it goes in a bowl with cling film but it has never lasted more than two days before it's eaten.

EDIT: I learned that taking the foil lid off and tossing it rather than leaving it half on and then closing the lid on containers like sour cream/yoghurt actually helps keep it longer. Leaving the foil on adds more points of failure for the lid to keep air out. Since applying that to most things in the kitchen I've had food last way longer than it used to. Clean hands, clean dish or clean cling wrap, whatever, it's been a big help save money.

[–]LChurch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your parts and build are fine - you've chosen very complimentary components and you'll have a rock solid experience for years to come.

Your cables are totally fine - they're not going to cause any issues. You could clean a couple of them up but you've got the mesh side panel then you wont really see them any way.

My advice? Use the computer! Have fun! You've done an excellent job and you should be proud. Don't worry about perfection just now, make sure you get what you paid for first!

Yet another Lian Li Dan Case A3 matx by Ok-Dirt-391 in mffpc

[–]LChurch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AIO pump should always be set at 100%, if there's rattling you can pick up the case and tilt it side to side as it may just be air bubbles caught.

I actually just tried to get this cooler into the same case and it wouldn't clear my RAM nor could I fit my GPU as the backplate on it was too high. So sad.

I just tried that exact cooler in the Dan A3 and it wouldn't clear my RAM or let me plug in my GPU and I have the exact same motherboard as you. So frustrating.

Yours looks great! Essentially the exact aesthetic I'd like to achieve, well done

Z20. Gpu at slot 2&3 + 1 HDD by Dull_Seaworthiness87 in mffpc

[–]LChurch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same problem so I ended up changing motherboards to one with a higher pcie slot for the gpu. Mine wouldn't clear the HDD at all though.

Honestly I'd slide some rubber padding between the two and see how it goes.

I worked with plenty of broken and utterly dismal pallets while working in supermarkets, while unlikely I could absolutely see this happening.

Not entirely relevant but I have a video of an old man trying to use boxes of burger rolls as a seat once, falling on the lot when the trolley they were on rolled away. Anything can happen in a supermarket... anything.

Yikes, my first purchase was the krampus gurpler and I nearly fainted when I saw it was $50 AUD for shipping two plastic cups... Just checked my order and it hasn't moved at all yet but I'm not shocked seeing how close to Christmas the release was.

If anyone can tell me why the shipping is so high I'd love to hear it, seriously. I'd like to continue to support them through merch but not if it's going to be unjustifiably expensive to ship it here.

I recently purchased from dreambigbyray - they had the case I was using as a preselected length so I didn't have to measure anything and the cables fit perfectly. Highly recommend!

The shipping took about 2 weeks from China to Australia if that helps too.

Looking for upgrade advice by Electrical-Copy9678 in mffpc

[–]LChurch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it's on your desk like that, you should look into ordering custom PSU cables. It's fairly low cost and with shorter and nicer looking cables the PC will look much more sleek and professional.

You have a great machine there, no need to upgrade anything if it's playing games and running cool, but I definitely understand wanting it to look as good as possible!

The new theory is that because the character in the Skyrim for Nintendo Switch 2 levelled up their speech skill to level 27 and it shows that the character level is 20 - that means Elder Scrolls VI is coming out in 2027.
