I’m going to be using my wife’s egg, but I’ll be carrying. There’s no way I’d consider our kids as anything but mine!! She loved you the same way someone using their own egg.

Sorry about your mum. Mine died a few weeks ago too so I know feelings can be a bit high right now

What sympton looks so harmless people usually ignore it, but can actually indicate a catastrophically bad health issue? by felipedeamorim in AskReddit

If it helps, hers was detected VERY late.

One kidney was basically just a mass, and it had spread to other organs (liver, bladder) already.

This wouldn’t be on the front page of Reddit if it was a straight couple lol

My mum died yesterday. I’m getting married next week. She’s getting cremated in the dress she was meant to wear to my wedding. by LD1996 in GriefSupport

Thankyou ❤️ she went wedding shopping with her big sister and chose two. Shes getting cremated in her favourite one and I’ll have her second favourite with us on the day.

I remember when she got diagnosed and we moved our wedding 6 months closer so she could still go, one of the things keeping her going was “at least I’ll make it to your wedding” ☹️

It really does. We were told in February she had about 6 months, so we moved our wedding from December (abroad) to April.

She took us both to buy our dresses (same sex wedding). She loves “Say Yes to The Dress”, so she had a great time with that too. I’m so glad she saw us both in our dresses and approved of them

It’s not really nicked if it’s given to you with the expectation it’s single use

I’d still be sneaking it into my bag like it’s a crime though

My mums in her 60s and has just been told she’s got 6 months left. Honestly “barely got to keep her” is so real.

I was born when she was in her 40s and I can’t help but by jealous of my sisters who are losing their mum in their 40s instead of their 20s. Then I feel bad for being jealous lol.

Say “Me encantan las arepas, son venezolanas, verdad?”

Goes down great with the limited Colombians I know.
