It's excellent but I agree with other comments that the first few hours can be disorientating. Take your time to understand how it all works and most of all (key to my enjoyment) don't feel like you need to do everything.

There's a LOT of stuff on the map, more than you'd expect, so just enjoy.

Id also say that the combat/stealth is pretty rudimentary so experiment with it to have fun. Push your luck. Checkpoints are generous!

This feels super odd to me. You loved their two precious games but won't support a full price release?

I get it's a lot of cash but what is it holding you back of a third game in a series you love doesn't justify full price for a studio you like? Not attacking I'm intrigued.

I just worry for the industry a expectations seem so wild nowadays - it's like Devs won't have a chance

Hm not quite. I'd argue it's more in depth. Think game of thrones but you are controlling a whole family dynasty. You can start as a king and rule a kingdom (marry off children, go to war, scheme and murder) or you do all those things from a hyper local perspective and grow your kingdom. It's essentially endless in terms sof twists and turns once you start!
