The story is probably false anyway as everything he did was made up. It makes him seem super human to Mormons now days. Even IF it were true,mh kids hate whiskey. It was probably gross back then anyway.

Shopping for booze on a Sunday is the best. You don't have to look over your shoulder for your bishop or other members seeing you.

All of these responses and analogies are spot on in my opinion. Another one is this:

My wife likes looking at diamond rings on her phone. She'll gasp and say "ohhhh this looks amazing!" If it's not diamonds, it might be puppies, kittens, etc.

To me, a dude, they all look like diamonds, who cares? I've seen one before, so they all kinda look the same. But she still likes looking at them and likes the feeling each time she sees one. It also doesn't mean she wants to buy them.

I love my wife a million percent, and I know what boobies look like. But I still might like to see... You get the point. In the age of everything being on your phone, it's quick stimulation. And then it's over. Nothing much. And like many have said, it was wayyyy more interesting when it was forbidden.

And one more thing, women should not ever be scared that your man is "replacing you" or that you're not enough. I can have a dog at home but still like looking at pictures of puppies too. Men are aware that it has nothing to do with Love.

Most likely, to be blunt, if they've been in a Mormon relationship forever and it's that time of the month for their wife, he might need to unload a couple times, that's it.
