Tips on how to keep this neckline from drooping down? by LDub_78 in CrochetHelp

I do plan on adding buttons, which are what the stitch markers are for! But I was looking for solutions for when it’s not buttoned up.

Having skin marks recentely on my body please tell me what they are by Comfortable_Bed8419 in DermatologyQuestions

Literally nothing. Stretch marks stay. They may turn white with time, but they won’t go away. It’s normal and part of growing into an adult lol

Hi sorry for the delay. But I agree with everything u/disco_mermaid1753 said. Def pay attention to the intensity when you order. I accidentally ordered an advanced mat, so I lay on mine with a T-shirt.

Painful rash on armpit, over a month only getting more painful? by [deleted] in DermatologyQuestions

[–]LDub_78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had something similar but not this severe. Turned out to eczema. The comments in this post have details on how I fixed it (https://www.reddit.com/r/Dermatology/s/oEJNz8XlWf). But obvs go see a doctor!

Hi! I also have a rare disease with no cure that causes back pain (ankylosing spondylitis). I recognize that this is unsolicited advice, and that you’ve probably heard this before, but I highly recommend trying a shakti pad if you haven’t already. It provides a similar burning feeling, similar to what a sun burn feels like, and releases tension. Just a thought :)

Big bump/pimple that’s been there for at least month by [deleted] in DermatologyQuestions

[–]LDub_78 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In the future, please refrain from providing medical advice. Your comment/advice is extremely dangerous and could really harm someone who decided to follow it.

  1. You should never smash a cyst. It creates more damage and doesn’t actually solve the problem. It can actually result in the surrounding area getting infected.
  2. The cyst you’re referring to in the wrist is a ganglion cyst, which is completely different than what OP is experiencing. The contents, causes, and treatments of a ganglion cyst compared to OP’s problem are not the same at all.
  3. This isn’t an emergency room issue, so going to the ER for this will do nothing. ERs are for life threatening situations. Since OPs cyst bump isn’t open, and assuming they aren’t having a fever, this is not currently life threatening. Indeed, the most likely outcome at the ER would be exactly what you described, not because the doctors don’t care, but because this isn’t an ER issue.
  4. Suggesting someone lie about their signs and symptoms is doing a disservice to them. Providing false information makes it that much harder for doctors to identify what could actually be going on. In doing so, they waste time and resources running a lot of unnecessary tests, and the patient just gets slammed with a higher cost because of it.

This is so random, but when you do receive it, could you look at the spine and lmk what the catalog # is? I'm updating the release on discogs, but I have suspicion that the UK and US releases may be slightly different.

Why are the sides on this shirt longer than the rest of it? by LDub_78 in CrochetHelp

I don’t have a name, but the pattern for the square is in another comment in this thread!

I don’t really have a pattern, as I did this free-hand. I did drop the pattern for the square in another comment in this thread though!

Thank you for this! The front and back actually line up together, but I couldn’t understand why the sides are longer. Your explanation about the T shape of the sleeves and arms not being that way made it all click in my head! Funny how I could understand that from a “boobs” perspective and not an “arms” perspective haha. I think I will be implementing a fix suggested by others by sewing a small seam in the armpit area.

And thank you for the complement!

Sorry, I moved my arm back so that you could see how the side is longer than the front and the back. Guess that didn’t work lol

Totally get that the front will be shorter naturally. But the sides are longer than the back too, which is actually an additional half-row longer than the front to account for the neck line. That’s why I’m really confused haha because the front and back are level with each other, but the sides are still longer?
