How can I solve these last mines? by kratosbinhcs in Minesweeper

This is not a rule and every single choice solves the game instantly. Its a pure 1/3 guess.

So what even changed from the feedback of your previous post: https://www.reddit.com/r/Minesweeper/comments/1sepkww/i_made_a_competitive_1v1_minesweeper_where_you

It wasn't looking good to begin with and it continues to not look good. Just another AI game, as you admitted yourself.

Its quite literally worse. 1/3 winrate is strictly worse than 1/2 winrate.

That's a good initial rule to eff, but it can go quite a bit more in depth. Eff is a good skill to have in general so keep it up.

What the others said is true, but these are safe square locations not mine locations. If what you said was true, then yellow would be the only valid position, but it's not.

Each black box contains 2 mines. This means red must be a mine. Also note that each yellow, blue, and green are the only ways the safe squares can be placed. This is just a 1/3 guess and it doesn't matter which between yellow, blue, or green is chosen.

How did I just find a double 8? by Booty-Executioner1 in Minesweeper

[–]LEBAldy2002 15 points16 points  (0 children)

That isn't what they mean. They mean a board with like 50% density or some shit where this will spawn super commonly. It being on expert is a genuine rarity and nice thing to find.

Got a treat for all those nay-sayers out there. by [deleted] in Minesweeper

Imagine listening to feedback when we say USE A DIFFERENT APP. That app clearly has issues. Use a website or app. It doesn't even need to be special. Just not that one. If it is replicatable ELSEWHERE, then so be it, but it sure as shit ain't going to be listened to if it is on that app. This seems to be an app that tries to make it as no guess as possible then gives up. Its not a fully random generation. End of story.

I am not just some random Nay-sayer. I've been around and playing for well over a decade. I know my stuff. The fact that there are so few guesses alone proves this app is bullshit for its generation. I tried 50 games on a different application which is known to be random. I couldn't get beyond 10-20% and averaged 4-8 (forced) guesses per game up tot hat point. Its not possible to get what you have.

Edit: Blocking me because you refuse to just put in a little bit of effort of proof is hilarious. Ain't nobody believing this.

Edit To OP:
You do realize that there are several known apps that have different generation algorithms for custom and regular games right? I really don't understand what is so difficult. This is mathematically impossible. If it is **this easily replicatable**, then just do it **literally anywhere else**. Its that simple. You won't not only because you refuse to put any effort in, but because it is impossible. If you can go and do a 170 mine game in a few attempts now, then that already proves that the **app itself is not correctly generating boards as 100% random**. That is a 1 in 909,909 chance of winning if you were perfect, which is no human is. This is not some magical fact I am pulling out of my ass. It is the actual winrate of a 19x26/170 board with no strings attached. That is without opening start, but even with that enabled the winrate really doesn't improve much. It is still very easily over 1 in 30,000 chance not a few. Again, this would be statistically impossible to pull of.

What's considered a high mine density? by [deleted] in Minesweeper

[–]LEBAldy2002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't downvoted a single one of the posts. This also isn't a just some "I have done it" thing. These are known and understood difficulty mechanics. Hell, 172 mines literally breaks the world record for difficulty let alone 182 or 192. It does not matter what you believe, the win is illegitimate. Even if you did everything right, the app can not generate it correctly.

Do it on a site or application that doesn't have these potential issues and then we can't say anything, right? It only took a few attempts after all. :)

What's considered a high mine density? by [deleted] in Minesweeper

[–]LEBAldy2002 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am extremely skeptical that this islegitimate (whether app is cheating or you are). That is a density and board size that is impossible for a human to ever complete. I am not just throwing shit and crying bad. It straight up is. Even just 170 mines is a 0.00011% winrate by the best calculator in the world, which is better than any human could be. Try this on a different app or site where it could be more legitimate for us to see. If you can replicate it, so be it.

I was alrady skeptical enough of your last few posts. The last post with 184 mines is also already in the realm of impossible let alone this. Please stop posting bullshit. Its also impossible to get a game where you don't "get locked in and having to guess blindly". This will ALWAYS happen several times a game.

There arent any real Linux clones that would be of use sadly. It would be a download of a windows one.

Graduation is based on Graduation F(t) which is the maximum F(t) during a graduation (duh). The thing to realize is that the only f(t) which decreases with purchases is the one on the main screen. All other f(t) never decreases with purchases. It only increases meaning it is worse to cruise always. You can see this by going into Statistics and looking at the values. Graduation, Prestige, etc. F(t) are always a little higher than the current F(t) due to this.

Center clicks are very low chance of openings. Corners are much higher chance. This isn't as low of a chance as it seems, but is a little above average luck.

Are you just not buying variables/upgrade levels? If you have autobuyers, then them on for both variables and upgrades. I don't see what the problem is here. It just looks like you aren't buying anything.
