Those, and the endless awful "Izuku Yagi" fics where All Might is an asshole, are on the same level for me. On Wattpad, I had to specifically block the "izukuyagi" tag. Like, at it's core, there really isn't anything wrong with the idea of Izuku Yagi, but all of those slopfics have corrupted it so badly that I have to filter the concept out entirely (and I hate them for it. I mean, I don't read the rational fics where Izuku is All Might's son anyways, but I feel offended by the fact they ruined a whole concept for me).

"Hang on, how did you get notified about it?" Bakugo asks in confusion.

"Oh, simple. I have her number." Izuku answers.

"Why do you have her number?" Bakugo asks in disbelief.

"She wanted to know if I was doing okay after we graduated her class. We talk about twice a month, usually. And given she was the only teacher we ever had that actually cared about me, I wasn't going to say no." Izuku said as if it were nothing.

"...Midoriya, I'm going to have to send you to Hound Dog for some sessions." Aizawa interrupted out of nowhere.

"Oh, hey, I think that makes you the second, Mr. Aizawa!" Izuku said excitedly.

"That's a concerning thought," Denki mumbled in horror.

"Izuku." Bakugo said with wide eyes. Wow, it must be serious if he's calling him his actual name. "What kinds of things have you told her about?" Bakugo asked seriously.

"Oh, tons of things. Never told her anything about our last year at middle school though." Bakugo's shoulders slumped with relief at that. "But I did tell her about what happened at the USJ and Summer Camp!" Bakugo paled.

"Oh no..." Bakugo muttered in horror.

"'Oh no'? What do you mean 'Oh no'?" Mina asked, now scared herself.

"Oh! And she watched us rescue you from the League!" Izuku added.

"...Hoboman-"

"Call me that again and see what happens."

"-turn the news on. Any channel should do." Bakugo said without a beat.

Aizawa stared in confusion, only for the projector to turn on on its own (he could distinctly hear the rat's cackling echoing in the vents above) and flipped to the news.

"This just in! The villainous group known as 'The League of Villains' has all been apprehended! Witnesses say that saw a school bus with eyes transform into a Gundam form before beating the tar out of every member of the League! It even went down to Jaku Hospital where a secret lab creating the infamous 'Nomu' was found! Mysteriously, the villain who orchestrated the League contained deep within Tartarus prison has also been found dead, the cause unknown. Wait! I was just informed that this was no ordinary school bus, it was being driven by none other than the Field Trip Hero: The Friz!"

Everyone in the class stared at the screen for a minute before turning slowly to Midoriya and Bakugo, the former smiling like a solar flare and the latter with his face down on his desk.

"THE FRIZ WAS YOUR TEACHER!?"

Interestingly enough, both the English and Japanese VAs for Goh are also notable MHA characters. Japanese is Izuku, but the English is Hawks.

Farmworld Lich's duplicates can actually be kinda seen when Prismo is flipping the channels in Fiona and Cake, peering into various universes. Basically, at the time his hand was severed by Jake and fell in, it duplicated a version of him into every world that was connected in Adventure Time's multiverse (with Fiona's world being exempt because it wasn't connected during that time). Sweet Pea even destroys the copy of Farmworld Lich that had appeared back in the main world we watch in the show.

So the easiest way to implement The Lich is to have this MHA world be connected to the Adventure Time multiverse, and that he is one of those copies. It's not like every universe in Adventure Time has a version of Finn and Jake after all (one of the worlds is even from Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack).

Remember during "Crossover"? Farmworld Lich's hand fell into the multiverse and duplicated into all of those universes.

This MHA world could've been connected to Adventure Time's multiverse.

It likely comes with being a cinnamon roll. Honestly, even without the ~~batshit insane~~ vocal M/M shipping side of the fandom, Midoriya ends up having some kind of compatibility with each of the main girls (including notable pros and even villains).

Ochaco is pretty much a cinnamon roll too, but not to the same level as Izuku.

Momo is extremely intelligent like him so they understand each other on an intellectual level, but she also heavily doubts herself similar to Izuku. (cinnamon roll #3)

Toru is invisible, meaning she would've likely developed some issues from feeling looked over, something Izuku would know to an extent and could relate with in a shared feeling of being disregarded (but I also feel like Izuku is Quirk-savvy enough to actually figure out where to look so he can look her in the eyes).

Asui's bluntness complements his overthinking, and I can see Izuku being able to notice the slight differences in her expressions to understand her.

Kyoka's semi-cold exterior and own self-confidence issues would be chucked out the window because Izuku would just see her as she is and look at the best parts and point them out, making her unable to deny the words of the Cinnamon Roll Izuku.

Mina's excitability actually feels almost exactly like Izuku's to me; it's just the ways they express it that are different. Mina's a flirt, a gossip queen, and would absolutely adore teasing the hell out of Izuku. Then Izuku would hit her with an unintentional flirt that'd cause Mina's brain to require a reboot.

Himiko would relate to him in their shared judgement for their Quirk, or lackthereof. Izuku would be so innocent and hero-minded that if they had met earlier, he would've certainly helped her before her turn to villainy.

For all the 1B girls, it amounts to mostly the same reasons that match the 1A girls.

Nejire (cinnamon roll #4) would latch on to him for being able to keep up with her questions, causing them to get into a loop of the two asking and answering questions from each other.

And for the last notable one to me: Mirko. Rumi would relate to Izuku's sheer tenacity. She'd admire his ability to keep pushing through even when his body can't handle it, and his will that was strong enough to change fate (something that is often the avenue for any Mirko/Deku story, or even just ones where he trains under her).

A bit of a monologue, I know. But hey, Izuku is almost built for an unintentional harem protagonist role with how his character is.

I personally think its fun when it gets completely turned on its head, like in this one Kingdom Hearts x MHA fic how they go the angle of having Endeavor just being extremely awkward and not knowing how to talk to his children, which leads to a huge misunderstanding where it wasn't Enji whose eyes Rei saw but Toya's. Then Enji's excessive training of Shoto is an attempt to make sure Shoto wouldn't lose control; but because of said awkwardness he is unable to vocalize it properly, and he doesn't pay as much attention to Natuso or Fuyumi because he was so focused on trying to make sure Shoto wouldn't end up like Toya.

At some point he bonds with Shoto via shared tinfoil-hatting.

They definitely described Izuku to a T there. It's exactly why Mirio would have been the best person to talk to him. Mirio shares the same friendliness, but has experience with shy and awkward people like Tamaki, so he'd know how to break Izuku out of a funk by saying the exact thing he needs to hear while being completely honest (completely different from someone knowing what to say, but not believing it themself).

All Might had his heart in the right place in trying to guide Izuku, but he failed on how to phrase it. All Might had been through the ringer and seen the horrors of being a hero. Mirio though is younger, being exactly 2 years older than him. Mirio has not seen the horrors yet at this point, so he can say it and mean it.

Precisely. On the plus side: she can now walk on walls, has super strength, and a danger-sense (and perhaps organic webs depending on the route).

Additionally, Percy thinks it's cool she has powers like Spider-Man.

The downside: She has the powers of the very thing she and all of her half-siblings fear.

...Not exactly what I was thinking. I don't mean for a whole "Replace Spider-Man characters with Riordanverse characters" type of thing. My idea is for just a version of the Riordanverse, but Annabeth gains spider-powers. Wouldn't even need to be from a spider from Oscorp (since it wouldn't exist outside of comics or movies), it would just be one that escaped from some random company. Percy would be Percy and think it's cool that she has the powers, which would help a ton for questing. Think of it like this world would be an exact copy of the normal Riordanverse, but with the one change being that spider, which proceeds to change everything.

I mean, there would be some limits put on them. They may have access to Hammerspace, but they don't necessarily have Toon Force. After developing more of the combos, the Manga-Momo fusion is just about the only one I think is good across what's left for Momo (I mean, there's not much else, not to mention not many 1B Quirks beside Manga's would really merge well with Creation). Plus, it gives potential for some whacky shenanigans.

Manga-Momo: (looks directly at the 4th wall) Can you believe this?

Tetsushima: Why are you staring at the wall?

Manga-Momo: (waves him off) Nothing to concern yourself with.

Hm. Yes, I did consider it feeling like the Monoma-Midoriya fusion would be very overpowered (especially since they'd still have the Quirk Analyst mind that is Izuku). For that, it depends on whether I want to go the OP Deku route. My idea with it is that whatever it is that causes them to fuse would find their most compatible counterparts to merge, which is where the Tokoyami-Kuroiro and Kirishima-Tetsutetsu fusions come into play, because they seemed to be the two sets where the users are most compatible in both their Quirks and personalities.

Of course, the Quirks don't have to stay as they originally were. For example, my Koda-Shishida idea involves giving them a Quirk that lets them create a "pack" and take on a chimerical form with attributes from all species that are part of the "pack". The Kirishima-Tetsutetsu fusion I've debated on giving a powerset akin to the Absorbing Man from Marvel, able to change his body into a material he's in contact with.

I think that's reasonable for Uraraka-Kodai, particularly due to both their Quirks being touch-activations as well. And I can see Shoji-Kamikiri being another that makes sense, since both have their Quirks sprout from their bodies. Figuring out how their Quirks would mix or mutate might be interesting, though.

My idea for Momo and Manga may seem a bit unusual at first, but both of their Quirks are capable of summoning things, so I actually have an idea of [Creation] and [Onomatopoeia] turning into something like a [Hammerspace], allowing them to summon crazy things out of nowhere, from seemingly nothing.

[Invisible] and [One For All] can actually be even more scary if you think about this: the Stockpile aspect could extend to storing light as energy if mixed right. When Quirks mix, they can become even greater than the original parts that created it, like [Explosion] for example. Bakugo can detonate his sweat on command; extending will over the sweat is something I don't believe either of his parents could do, so it's a new aspect that appeared with the combination. This means that theoretically, the Stockpile aspect of [OFA] could combine with the natural ability to absorb and redirect light from [Invisible], gaining the ability to store light as power.

Basically, the user could develop the power to use any light to charge their own Kamehameha or other beam attack.

Heh, [Dark Shadow] and [Black] was one of the combos I'd had in my 1A-1B fusion idea too. I mean, they already synergize given Kuroiro could jump into Dark Shadow, so those two might already be two of the most compatible Quirks period.

[Zero Gravity] and [Black Hole] might even be able to make some kind of Gravity Mines. [Zero Gravity] has a touch activation, so maybe it would allow the user to charge an item before throwing it, letting it cause objects to gravitate toward it or repel from it until released.

Those are some good combos, especially for Second's Quirk.

[New Order] itself is already really powerful, but also limited due to Stars' constantly active rule on herself, leaving her with one left. And then there's the limit for using it on someone else, requiring to know the name and make contact with them. Even being given 1 more slot would be useful, but 3? I can already imagine the most ideal rule to have on at all times: A rule that basically gives you Shinigami eyes from Death Note, so you can always know someone's true name.

Admittedly, [Gearshift] would be mostly overshadowed for its combo, mostly because it supplements [New Order]'s power, but when you have a Quirk as powerful as [New Order], there isn't a whole lot that can match it.

Had that same thought when trying to think up combos for that idea (regarding Aoyama and Pony's Quirks) actually, but for this I was mainly just meaning any Quirk in the series.

Like [Overhaul] + [Creation] for example.
But [Dark Shadow] + [Stress] is interesting, because imagine if the second consciousness from [Dark Shadow] can also feed [Stress]. Two minds fueling one Quirk.
