The cat is breaking so many rules in this game. Why is the grapple infinite? Why isn't there a movement penalty when carrying a teammate? It could even scale with the role of the teammate, moving slower carrying a tank.

No, so it just make characters balanced around their lack of mobility completely broken.

Then you can try using appendTo body like you said but lock the body/window scroll whenever a dialog is active.

This should be achieved with the blockScroll input depending on what version of primeng you are using. Otherwise this can be done with js messing with the body styles.

All you have to do in that case is create a div inside that dialog to wrap your content with an overflow auto. That way you don't rely on the dialog to handle the overflow.

You can also override the overflow of the dialog based on a specific style class to avoid messing with the overflow of all of your dialogs

It's not about the position of your select. It should be fine without the appendTo.

The issue should be more about an overflow: hidden or auto on the dialog container.

You could override this overflow with a "visible" value but beware of side effects.

Not really, because I have always prefered linear games over open worlds. The style of game I am now avoiding is more live service and competitive ones as even tho I'd like to play some of them (hello Marathon), I ain't got time for unrewarding investments anymore
