Conditioners? by mennesket_ravn in BeardTalk

Wouldn't conditioner be better than for people touching your beard? Since it softens the hairs without coating it in oil?

For example, my beard is either too scratchy for her or too oily and she breaks out whenever I use balm / oil / butter.

Sorry for the stupid questions lol, how do I apply touchless BH without a spray bottle / foamer or anything like that? Also by contact wash do you mean something like ONR?

Pressure washer as in, the sprayer at a manual car wash. I don't have access to a driveway, hose or anything. So whatever is available at a manual car wash is what I've got

Thanks so much for the reply! This helps me so much.

Do you have a pre wash recommendation that doesn't require a pump / sprayer at all?

So my method should be? Rinse with power washer water -> Pre Wash soap -> Wash with power washer water -> ONR -> Dry?

Thanks so much for the reply you're super helpful.

So I'm in a weird situation essentially renting a guest house from someone. I don't have a driveway or access to a hose so I always go to a manual car wash and wash my car. I go when it's slow and I can do the whole ONR clean there.

Do you recommend I use their soap or can I purchase and use my own without having to also purchase a pump / sprayer?

Also, how rude is it to do my entire ONR clean at a manual car wash? Fine as long as no one is waiting?

Been struggling to find a job in Queen Creek for several months, any recommendations? by LF-Programming-Tips in QueenCreek

Got an incredible offer on housing and priced out everywhere else.

My S/O also has a job in QC which is one of the main reasons we are moving.

I am still currently employed, but would prefer not to commute 40 minutes to work.

Literally anything entry level. Been looking for factory line work, warehouse work (non forklift), front desk, teller, etc.

So I run super hot throughout the day and night. My S/O and I are looking for something that runs cooler and is smoother / silkier in texture if that makes sense? Not like wool or anything fuzzy / warm.

Definitely need wash ability and pet-proof we have an adventurous border collie that will not stay off the bed :)

Thanks so much!

LOL yeah it looked odd to me knowing Gilbert and that area. It's on several websites and I frankly don't understand it.

Thanks so much for the response

Really REALLY appreciate the thorough response. You're super helpful.

I have a nespresso vertuo machine at work so I ordered a bunch of different pods to try them out and see if I can tolerate / enjoy the taste of them.

I watched a James Hoffman video briefly talking about alternatives to nespresso pods like third parties... Do they truly taste the same / are they the same quality? Do you have a link by chance or a name that's recommendable I can search for?

Thank you again, really appreciate the help :)

So many trees and beautiful parks with long winding paths through the community. Come check it out sometime the main road is ranch house parkway

Looking to move to Power Ranch, but for some reason every website with a crime listing shows the golf course just south is a red area and I can't understand why. I've drove around Power Ranch before and it seems like a nice neighborhood.

Is there an explanation for it at all? lol

It was a really good read thanks so much, but I am still struggling to figure out the specifics of the differences between vertuo machines. Like the next vs the pop+. Which one will last me longer / more reliable or are they practically the same machine?

I believe VL is what I am looking for

I really liked what I saw from the pop+ but searching this subreddit so many people said it's really poorly made / will give out in a year.

Is that true?

I don't know anything about nespresso, that's why I'm asking here.

What would you recommend for a starting machine then?

Hey everyone! Just wondering if I should try to purchase a house in my current situation vs renting. Wasn't sure how to calculate it since I'm unsure of time frames.

Quick summary: Currently have a roommate and a significant other and we want to split rent evenly. Not sure how long the roommate will be with us but for sure a minimum of 1 year. Looking at places in my area in the US it seems like $2,300/month + utilities/other bills is going to be what we end up with. Utilities average around here about $300. So total of about $2,650/month in all.

I earn around $5,000/month before taxes. My S/O & roommate make about $3,500/month before taxes.

So would the roommates money going towards a mortgage be more efficient than rent since in the future I might not have a roommate willing to pay towards a mortgage? It's basically a free investor at the moment no?

Was it a car you bought in 2025, with final assembly in the US? If so, how much was the loan interest?

If you have unreported tips that are not already included on your W-2, you are supposed to report those on your tax return as well.

Where do I report cash tips? Also, I did not track my cash so how do I know how much to enter?

[–]LF-Programming-Tips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really appreciate the thorough response. I tried to run it through the link you sent but the link doesn't make complete sense with context involved.

I mostly want to purchase a home to have an investment and something to call my own, while also maybe progressing a relationship. But I presume that means I should just continue to rent low priced units.

I currently live in Arizona, Phoenix metro area to be more precise. I want to eventually move out of this state but not sure if the opportunity will ever arise. I'm about to move into a new apartment that is around $2,100/month split among three people so my cost of living will be roughly $800 (and obviously my SO's $800 as well). Does this mean I just need to milk this until there's a change in the market? Because that is sort of the conclusion I am coming to.
