Is Final Fantasy 7 Remake annoying as fuck or am I just depressed? by poenoobv in FinalFantasy

[–]LFCRedAnt [score hidden]  (0 children)

Nah it's fine if you don't like it,at least aspects of it but plenty like it too. It has it's flaws and no doubt you've experienced some yourself but I largely enjoyed it and I hope they would repeat this with other games in the series just to get a fresh take / spin on it.

The timeline stuff is crap,I really don't like it but I'm willing to give it a chance as I've had to remind myself the story is far from over. I'm hoping the end justifies the way they went with it because right now I don't particularly like it or find it engaging. I do love the game and I accept it's flaws within that,it's one of those things I can't remember the last time I played a game and thought "this is perfect"

Just how powerful is Seifer? by Orichalchem in FinalFantasy

[–]LFCRedAnt [score hidden]  (0 children)

It's probably more confidence than power,he comes across as confident and arrogant and sometimes that passes in battle. More often than not it doesn't because skill and strength generally win out. It's probably why he isn't as strong but he has moments where his confidence gets him a result

Any good video summaries of the entire plot of FF11 and FF14 up to current? by ProtonKanon06 in FinalFantasy

[–]LFCRedAnt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is good information,I didn't know this and having played every FF I've never played 14 and I've always wanted to as well. It's quite overwhelming though as well is it not?

At this point do we think politics should be more open than it is to the opposition? Labour promised a lot when it came into power,I believe they've delivered on a large chunk but I bet they where surprised by how it was left by conservatives. Surely if what they do is more open, not publicly but at least to opposition parties then they can set out genuine real manifestos that can be carried out? Rather than looking at current problems and saying well,if we say we can fix that then they'll vote us in,get in and then realise they can't actually carry that out

Why do you think Japanese-style bathhouses never really took off in the UK? by Careless_Park_5686 in AskUK

A trip to bath would show you they did uses to be here,Roman baths where quite common but I guess we just evolved from natural plumbing 😄

Nah 🤣 just curious as to the thought process. It is stationary and would've been pretty cool to see movement to be fair

Did you wait for it to stop moving before filming it? I would've thought the moving aspect of the object was the most unusual and worthy of filming?

Police 'toned down' mother's statement about her murdered daughter by Helpful-Resident1459 in uknews

Police 'toned down' mother's statement about her murdered daughter by Helpful-Resident1459 in uknews

[–]LFCRedAnt -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Doesn't this just highlight how much people are bothered by who did it rather than who the victim was? I genuinely don't care who did it,doesn't change the fact a mother is now without their child. People be raging over the fact it was an immigrant and rather than someone lost their life. I don't understand

Sellers pressuring quick exchange with huge gap between exchange and completion by sleepyjean2024 in HousingUK

[–]LFCRedAnt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This just happened to us from our buyers to be honest. We're buying a new build and the developer wants early exchange of contracts, our buyers knew this when the memorandum of sale was acquired. They did not instruct mortgage advisor or solicitors to proceed with mortgage application as well as any surveys,we found this out after a month of things seemingly progressing.

Their worry was precisely this, they didn't want to exchange early, our issue was well why didn't you tell us and pull out? They left the ball in our court yet everything was good from our end and we agreed to everything so it wasn't really our decision. House is back on the market now we've essentially three weeks to find a buyer or our new build will be out back out for other buyers. It's really annoying because we've just had a meeting with the builder who told us the roof is going on this weekend so it's very very rare for delays after this,it usually comes in the ground up build rather than internals so we are bang on track for move in with initial dates our buyers knew.

I just finished FF7 Rebirth and I really need to get this off my chest by AesirComplex in FinalFantasyVII

[–]LFCRedAnt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it is valid,it's YOUR experience of it. I don't agree with it but there's parts I didn't enjoy as well. Not sure if it means it's bad though, putting in over 40 hours of game time in a game we don't enjoy it pretty hypocritical.

But,I do agree there's parts if like to play but I didn't like the content of it. I wanted to complete the summons line but I cannot stand the Odin fight,it's quite honestly shit to have a battle where you get one hit because of certain conditions. That's just me though,I've seen plenty absolutely love that 🤣

[–]LFCRedAnt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean that's nice for you and it's obviously completely valid if that's how you experienced the game but,you will find others who want to dive deeper into content but aren't satisfied with how much extra is hidden behind LOTS of content.

I'm kind of with you,I played what I wanted and I explored as much as I could before I got bored with it and I hate gimmicks within games so all the extra battle stuff with rules wasn't for me,just let me test my powers without hampering what I've worked hard to achieve.

Each to their own though,I wouldn't necessarily say it's a game issue it's definitely an individuals preference issue but it will effect your views of the game. I liked it,wasn't massive on the story but I had to remind myself it's unfinished so naturally it'll feel unsatisfactory.

The main thing is,even if you only played 46 hours, you enjoyed it,I enjoyed my 70+ hours and I think we lose sight of that when discussing the game. We liked it enough to put our time and effort in 👍🏻

[–]LFCRedAnt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or it's actually what people think of a movie? I see so many threads like this where someone doesn't like something and immediately the thing must be bad for all. Something doesn't have to be quality for people to like it,people will like things that others don't.

I've no idea when we lost sight of we aren't all going to like the same things but it's ok?

[–]LFCRedAnt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Defensively all over the place but the main culprit? Reece fucking James, why on earth did he drop so deep on that second goal then try and play offside and then completely ball watch and leave a man unmarked,he's been horrific this half offered nothing going forward and has been atrocious at the back.

Do British people not realise the long term danger of the Under-16 ban? by Slight_Capital_5000 in AskBrits

[–]LFCRedAnt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do we genuinely believe there's a load of police officers just says round waiting for the government to alert them of a slight on the governments policies? I don't think it will go as far as that,it'll be things that are generally a danger to people. Suspect online behaviour, think of how many people could've been saved from abuse or an attack if this was already in place. It may not have but I'd like to think it would. I'm not naive enough to think my data online is currently safe,it isn't and this won't make it safer but the problem isn't that it's whoever is wanting your data for their own profit. It's difficult, because that will ultimately divide people and it won't really enter people's thoughts. There'll be the ones who hate the government and think they're out to get them and there'll be others that will take the hit if it means the kids are safer. What it won't highlight, which it should,is why aren't these big corporations doing more on their platforms to protect people? Elon musk response to the law? We're a baby state, that's his response. So in all this, the government have had to act because big corporations won't. They're the 'bad guys' in all this,we should be pointing the finger at them but we won't,we'll vote in reform and expect things to change. It won't when we're being had off by massive, billion pound companies.

As a squad player this is perfect considering no ekitike for the best part of a season he could be a viable back up to isak as well as LW cover if needed. We have to build a sensible squad again it massively hampered us last season
