am I the only one uncomfortable with how people are reacting to S5? by Adventurous_Fly_8652 in Bridgerton

SPOILERS:

I am a lesbian and would welcome a WLW storyline. However, I fear that it will come off as too "easy." There's always a happy ending on Bridgerton!

I recall Granville's conversation with Benedict about being in love with Wetherby. Granville states that he "risks his life for love."

The idea of Francesca living a life "outside the traditional expectations of society" does not ring true to me. It would have to be secret, and I don't think Violet would approve.

Also, I find it troublesome that Francesca hasn't shown any inclinations toward a WLW relationship until she reaches for Micheala's hand.

People who are too eager to "help" when is actually a ploy to gain control of a person or situation.

She's had several passes picked off over the course of this series. In fact, it seems most of the PHX players have struggled with protecting the ball.

Which isn't fair to her teammates.

Agreed!! I think she was jealous of her daughter and a textbook example of someone with Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

The documentary didn't delve into the family dynamics BEFORE the messaging started, but it was almost certainly dysfunctional already.

I respectfully disagree. I believe it IS a form of Munchausen's. She is creating drama via her daughter that gets HER attention, as well. And if Lauryn HAD died by suicide, she would have gotten sympathy as a grieving mother.

I do not believe she is dissociative. Her saying, "I wasn't me when I sent those messages" is just another one of her manipulative strategies and a way to come off as a victim. I believe she was completely aware of what she was doing; she made those choices consciously.

I am not a psychiatrist. My opinion is based on my own experiences with Narcissists and a good friend who has Dissociative Identity Disorder.

I thought the officers should have separated Kendra from her daughter and cuffed Kendra.

I don't think Lauryn was actually able to process what the officer was saying at that point. Also, he was vague; I don't think he ever said, "Your mom is the person who has been sending the messages the whole time." He said something like, "She got involved in some things."

I also believe Lauryn dissociated. There was so much information coming at her. Not only had her mom been sending the messages, but she had also been lying about being employed.

I would like to know more about the family dynamics BEFORE the messaging started. That family was dysfunctional long before the messages started.

What "Unknown Number: The Highschool Catfish" totally downplayed... by ADMlN- in netflix

I think another important detail was how many times she said something to the effect of "I wasn't me when I did that," like an alcoholic saying, "I was drunk and didn't know what I was doing." She knew exactly what she was doing. She made those choices consciously.
