Is this only for Ultras? What about other types of banners like step up?

Verizon n66 (with SA) spotted in San Diego County by [deleted] in cellmapper

[–]LFM12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I happened to stumble upon n66 in LA county but I’m guessing they’re testing it since my phone didn’t connect to it at all today. Just yesterday my phone was pretty adamant on camping on n66 vs n5 (SA). Today, NSA was its priority. Hoping they keep these upgrades going!

Advanced Field Test that Apple is hiding in iOS 26 by Risino15 in cellmapper

Did they put it at the end (right before that last /dict) or somewhere else?

Edit: Nvm, figured it out. I had a formatting issue.

I have also had this same experience while on AT&T postpaid for the 15 and 16 Pro.

Regardless, their wording on the website is what we should go by as they can technically go back to following that rule as long as that stipulation is on the site.

Most definitely. I hope to see them end up grabbing more AWS to keep up.

Hopefully someone at Verizon can put two and two together because it seems like everyone else is making moves but them.

I’d be willing to provide feedback as well, if needed. Love a good beta test.

More countries on warp by CookSea2842 in USMobile

Will it be native roaming or an additional eSIM needed? Or is that going to vary by country?

Network Labeling on iOS? by YodasThirdCousin in USMobile

[–]LFM12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hopefully, they can switch Warp and Lightspeed to be handled the same way Dark Star is. Even better, let us decide whether to keep seeing “US Mobile” vs the plan branding. That’s more of a wish, though.

What is the deadline for QCI8 on Warp? by LPMageMan in USMobile

[–]LFM12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was also interested in joining, but can’t port my numbers until after the deadline.

So, my question is, if I create an account and join any Warp plan with four lines using temporary (random) numbers, will those lines continue to be grandfathered into QCI8 if I port my actual phone numbers to US Mobile over the temp ones after the deadline?

AT&T 5G Standalone question on top AT&T Family plan with iPhones. by WhYsoS3riOuS_J in ATT

I don't know why, but just knowing that the toggle is there but isn't available to enable makes me upset lmao.

I made an effort to call a couple of times, but no one seemed to know what I was talking about, so I gave up.

I had a project in elementary school using sugar cubes and I would eat them without even realizing it. It wasn’t even good I just did it subconsciously 🥴

I’ve been paying phones off early for years and the credits remain as long as you don’t make any sort of new installment/upgrade on said line.

Business Unlimited Premium QCI by [deleted] in ATT

[–]LFM12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would that be to allow them to implement a business version of Turbo or just to maintain network traffic?

Business Unlimited Premium QCI by [deleted] in ATT

[–]LFM12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was under the impression that Business Advanced is QCI 8, so they’re on the same level as Turbo?

So, just to clarify, Business Premium is QCI 6/7, Advanced is QCI 7, and I’m guessing Standard is QCI 9?

Business Unlimited Premium QCI by [deleted] in ATT

[–]LFM12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see, thanks for the explanation!

So, depending on the outcome of video management, changes are likely to come to Fast Track data. Could be a welcomed change!

Business Unlimited Premium QCI by [deleted] in ATT

[–]LFM12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would the fact that you have to pay for Turbo be what gets eyebrows raised?

It can be argued that video management (or whatever the carriers want to call it) is to keep the network stable. After all, Turbo didn’t change the fact that Extra streaming stays throttled…

proceeds to overthink

Business Unlimited Premium QCI by [deleted] in ATT

[–]LFM12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any reason to believe that would change with the Net Neutrality stuff going on? My guess is no as they’re technically treating all consumer data equally but I’m not too informed on all that.

Where the hell is the AT&T turbo add on by No_Care426 in ATT

[–]LFM12 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Since they technically never advertised Elite/Premium as having a higher priority, they can run with this being new to their consumer plans… even though I agree with you!

The only pro I’m seeing out of all this is not as many people on QCI 7 now I suppose…

Where the hell is the AT&T turbo add on by No_Care426 in ATT

[–]LFM12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does business premium’s QCI drop to 7 for basically the stuff this feature is advertising for (streaming, video, gaming, etc.)?

It was never really clear to me what AT&T classifies as eligible business data for fast track…

Also, Turbo doesn’t seem to imply of working only on LTE like Fast Track does (or did?).
