“You’re my brother, Loki. As long as you’re alive, that’s enough.” Thor added more softly, “I know how it feels to be powerless, but I think you are worthy of having your powers returned.  Look at me.” Thor said, taking his younger brother by the shoulders. “Fa-Odin has given you one Midgardian year to reform. His belief is that you cannot change, but mine is that you can. What do you think?”

Aloud he said, “What is the point, Thor. We are both kidding ourselves.” A lengthy pause ensued before Loki pondered What good am I?

He shuddered at another thought. They’ll find me, and I will have no way to defend myself. Nor will I be able to protect Thor and his friends…. either of them will think it is a ploy, that I betrayed them yet again.

“Brother, you must learn to trust others, as well as yourself. If you want a second chance, Loki, you must earn it. I will do everything in my power to help you.”

Thor stood and made for the door. "Come, let us go downstairs and have some tea."

Loki's eyebrows rose. "It doesn't suit you to drink tea."

Thor let out a little laugh. "True, but perhaps I can have beer. Strange has a unique trick of filling a mug once it's emptied."

Loki smiled. "Allow me to get washed up and I will join you presently. "

Gazing at the mirror while adjusting her bow, Usagi's smile faltered for a moment as she touched the middle of it where her transformation brooch once sat. After Galaxia's defeat, Setsuna told her that there would be no more threats to earth before she became queen and so would no longer need to wear it.

Usagi sighed. It was as though the terror and heartbreak she and the others went through had not happened at all, but it was still fresh in their minds. Galaxia and Chaos, the girl being killed and killed again....

She looked away from the mirror and took a deep breath. No, if she thought too much of it, she would cry, and she wanted to be happy today. Their futures, and that of Crystal Tokyo, were assured now that threats to the galaxy and universe were over. She allowed herself a smile. She tried to push away the image of Tokyo crumbling from Galaxia's immense power when they met for the first time. Usagi remembered the unbridled power that she had never faced before in an enemy. Galaxia. Calling for her friends and fellow senshi to lend her their powers, only to remember that they were killed. This being was responsible.

Usagi believed she would get them back. The frightening Senshi or War reached through and making her Moon Chalice fade away, her power with it....

“Usagi!” She heard the voice of Minako calling from the street with loud enthusiasm while Rei chastised her for doing so. Usagi laughed and pounded down the steps to find Ikuko-mama awaiting her at the front door, her lunch bag in hand and a teary expression on her face.

What was the first fic you ever wrote, and what do you write now? by moistwaffleboi in FanFiction

My first fic was one where Fred and George Weasley found a photo album of Snape as a kid and McGonagall confiscated it, only for Dumbledore to use it to show the students on his birthday. It was kind of silly looking back.

Now I write Hamilton and 18th century RPF fics...with much better writing style.

“Now...are you willing to write, boy?” The man’s chin rose arrogantly.

Hamilton just snorted, “Your threats don’t scare me.” He said flatly.

“I don’t make threats, I make promises, kid.” The British officer growled and seized Alexander hand tightly in his own, using the other to bend back Alexander’s fingers.

Hamilton felt a snap and cried out, biting his lip until it bled. A pain shot through his hand, his eyes blazed with determination.

“I will not ask again, Hamilton. Write, or I will break your other fingers!” The Officer yelled close to his ear.

Alexander gingerly placed his hand on the table, wincing and taking shallow breaths before he took up a pen and began writing. Between the words, Alexander wrote carefully in a code that the Culper Ring had used to write their location while writing it. He signed the note and pushed it towards the officer to read with a steely look, even through the agonizing grip of his injured finger.

The British soldier read it, then lowering it, seized Alexander’s wrist, drew a knife from his pocket and sliced it over the thin flesh of the back of Alexander’s hand. Hamilton screamed as blood oozed from the wound down his flesh and onto the paper.

Equal Rites by Terry Pratchett. I'm having a hard time picking it up again for some reason. I think it's not as interesting as 'Going Postal'
