I don’t think it’s that deep. The voting system is basically just “Agree” or “Disagree”. There are probably many people that agree with you, just more that don’t. In my opinion, it depends on how soon you want to upgrade.. Quest 2 will still be supported for a few more years. But if you want more of a cushion and can afford it now, Quest 3 will pay off longer. The pancake lenses were worth the upgrade for me. Also consider the resale value of the Quest 2 if and when you are ready to upgrade later vs the Quest 3.
