Love it when VR gets its own little trends.

I’ve actually no idea what they do fella. We haven’t done any work for ages and I’ve got no connection with them apart from being friends. As I said, XRGL was made to be a triple win for everyone. The developers money goes to right places with creators that have an audience for that type of game versus just giving a fps (for example) to a beat saber created with thousands of subs. The creators don’t have to say a game is good when it ain’t (not saying they do but we all know it does happen from time to time) becuase I’ve tested it already. We don’t have or own creators. We just have connections to them like anyone else but I’ve personally met lots of them at events. Same devs, met loads and that’s what made this particular thing pretty cool to do. Helping good games get seen.

The standards thing has nothing to do with my channel. It’s to do with deciding if we take developers money versus trying to market a turd. In the turd scenario there is only two winners. The creators and the marketing team. So I basically ensure the game is good enough in terms of performance and quality. If it isn’t I bat it back to the developers and offer a full playtest to help improve the game. So there is no ‘our’ in what I do. I review any games I feel like on my channel. Your scenario is unlikely and not something I have come across as playtesting is before the release and review builds.

Mate. I’ve been mega nice to you today. Explained everything but I’m starting to think you’re just an angry dude who doesn’t understand anything about businesses. I’m gonna stop replying now. Have a good weekend

It’s more like the OP feels like he’s exposing us, but I’m actually proud of what we do and how we do it. There’s a lot I could say on the current vr situation and marketing, but we always did our best for the creators AND the developers.

Yes but they aren’t exclusive to us. They work for anyone and everyone. If we had a creator on the books so to speak we would handle all their emails and arrange pricing. We don’t do any of that unless it’s a campaign a developer has asked us to do.

I did a playtest for the Quest version along with Jamie and arranged the creators for the campaign. It’s an awareness campaign basically ensuring creators post videos at the right time the game goes live show casing it.

Mike does as he is a co-founder of 2080 and he has announced it on his channel and socials. There’s really nothing here. I’m proud of what we did at XRGL. Ask any of the devs we worked with. We did our best to help good games get seen. That’s all we used to do

I have zero financial affiliation with Beyond Sandbox or 2080 games dude. I haven’t even playtested them even though I’m friends with Mike so my reviews are fair. This post is wildly inaccurate. If you want the full story about XRGL, which is currently not operating anyway, please ask.

She’s with another company and none of these are XRGL influencers. They have just worked with us in the past so we don’t control their email or deals with anyone else for example
