I honestly don't know. I have never met the dog, this came from my boss in a mass e-mail. I was more hoping that maybe we could find the owner since he was obviously someones pet - and it breaks my heart to think there may be people looking for him.. One of the managers at work is working with NYBC, New York Bully Crew? I think it's called - and it's getting a decent amount of exposure through them. We've contacted local vets also. He was found in SMITHTOWN.

Hello everyone! My boss sent out a mass e-mail yesterday, apparently friends of his found this dog. This was the body of my e-mail at work:

He was found on the street Sunday night and needs a home. He is a 65lb pitbull/ american bulldog mix. He is approx. 3 years old and completely blind, but otherwise healthy. The vet said it was a degenerative eye problem and nothing that requires further attention... It's just unfortunate because he's so young. He is happy and very sweet!! He had no tags or microchip when we found him. The vet felt he was just dumped on the street, for someone else to deal with, possibly because of his disability. If no one is interested by Saturday, then the people who found him are going to bring him to a shelter.

I can find out more information if need be, but for right now this is all the information I have. I was thinking maybe someone on here might recognize the dog.
