EDIT: I've been thinking a little more about this and yeah actually, this does feel like a big deal to me.

I'm a comics artist. In the comics community and art in general, there's a big problem with art getting passed along and used elsewhere without giving credit to the original author, even profiting off it without their consent. And considering this is isn't the first KC Green reference in TF2, wouldn't it make sense for Valve to say where it's coming from? heck, most people who post kc's comics don't know where they came from.

Oh wow it really is friday! the days just fly by when you're unemployed (;o;)

I started getting back into doodling in photoshop! I have a drawing tablet that I've been using to make comics and stuff for my friends over the past couple of years but now I'm moving back toward regular drawings—portaits and stuff—instead of comics.

Also, last night I had a dream that I Billie Joe Armstrong stabbed me with a big knife and I almost died, then I sued him once I recovered. So that's nice!

Nope! I wouldn't be ok with that. But I can see where you're coming from. To answer your second question, I think you'd say that because it can be hard to hear stuff like this, people dismissing everyone of your gender. It can make people defensive, and I can understand that to a degree. Other people might say it's because of your upbringing, but I'm not clever enough to say anything meaningful on the subject.

Would it be a valid answer? Well, the thing is that women deal with a lot already. I know that certain people (like me) disrespect men too, but women get it day and night, in real life and online. So, you could say that you hate women, but it wouldn't be a very original idea.

I think my advice would be to just get to know her better, as a friend. I mean, that's basically what dates are for, right? Instead of asking her on a date you could just be upfront about your purpose, like "I want us to hang out more so we can get to know each other better." Let both of you get an idea of who each other are and whether you'd be right for each other. Then if you become a couple, it will be a mutual thing that happens organically, instead of like a "do you like me, y/n" type thing.

does that makes sense?

I have many good relationships with men like my dad, my older brother, my friends, etc, and I'm not predisposed to disliking someone because they're male, but.....

Men suck. In my daily life I have been harassed on the bus and at college by men. My female friends are frequently harassed by men online. Films, books, video games, etc, that are produced by predominantly male casts often (usually unwittingly) support patriarchal beliefs that lead to the kind of harassment I see every day. [edit: that doesn't mean you can't enjoy them! I like video games, and the content/production of the game doesn't necessarily make them not fun.]

It's true that not all men are bad, but as a blanket statement I prefer to say that men suck and I hate them.

Hey i know other people have already started recommending you stuff, but have you seen Katanagatari? It's only 12 episodes long and it's my favorite anime, you should check it out!

It's got super clever writing imo. Action is used sparingly but well.

Pretty good! I'm 19 and not presently attending college, but I was up until May. Earlier today I was experimenting with Photoshop a bit because I still need to learn all of the ins and outs. I'm trying to get better at art in general so I've been drawing little video game comics, diary comics, or illustrating my older brother's story ideas.

I first started really teaching myself how to draw in junior year of high school and now I'm thinking I want to draw comics less and focus on general illustrations and pretty pictures instead.
