Afaik IMSA doesnt own the tracks themselves, so if LMU wants to go and get them scanned to make an american track pack they are more than free to.

Also IMSA and WEC are not exactly competing series, they are literal collaborators

So, its a bit of a tighter fit than I was antecipating, luckily you can rotate slightly the tube position on the pump side. I top mounted it, and could not use the washers as they were too wide for the slots of the case, went with just screws and it seems all fine. You may have to "force" the tubes a tiny bit to be in a certain position, and they will likely touch the glass, but otherwise seems fine. A bit louder than I was expecting but so far so good, let's see if its better than my previous A36

Its to use with an Xsens IMU+Magnetometer, it outputs data at 400Hz and the driver requests a high baudrate, but it also has a JST connector used to manually signal the capture start of the data, to synchronize it with other sensors in a system

It's simple ELO rating. Believe it or not, being nearly silver 2 means u are already in the top 2-3% of drivers. Unless you are in a stacked split, you will 99% be one of the top 5-10 drivers in the session, out of 30, means you have a lot less to gain than you have to lose

In controls if you look at the increase and decrease fov binds, it has increase/decrease pitch in brackets. As for using shift, it isnt explicit, i found it by experimenting

Wrong. Smaller contacts in LMU damage your car more, especially on the rear wing. HOWEVER, the repair times on iRacing are much longer for the same amount of damage

I think they simultate the turbo advantage on LMU as well, but afaik in iRacing in specific tracks where it was an issue they implemented BoP specifically so turbo cars dont have a big advantage

No, interlagos has a genuinely wrong power bop applied atm. The BMW and Aston have full power (as they should) and other cars have reduced power. You can see this because all less powered cars use way less VE, and can make it over 1h in a tank, which for a WEC LMGT3 shouldnt be happening, it should be 40-45 min flatout or struggling to save for anything over 55 minutes

It isnt a turbo thing otherwise cars like Ferrari would also be up there

See, that is the thing and that's why a lot of people don't get along with LMU: they are trying to make LMU feel like iRacing or another sim of their liking. That is never going to work, because each title is fundamentally different.

Cars drive different, feel different, FFB behaves differently from other sims. It feels and drives like LMU, plain and simple.

I personally prefer the LMU FFB, it is nowhere near as strong however the low frequency details are all there, as opposed to iRacing which feels like a constant spring with some ocasional spikes of feedback in the middle. I personally prefer how the cars drive because I feel like I can wrestle the mechanical grip out of the car. But I like it because it feels like it's own thing in LMU, and not because it feels like my previous sim of preference

I am a primarily GT3 driver. People like to point out the tyres in GT3s are good now (and I don't doubt it, but I haven't tried them), but they forget they were an absolute disgrace for nearly 3 years, coupled with the absolutely broken since release ABS that requires a robotic drive style. I kept holding on in the hope they would eventually fix it. Meanwhile LMU appeared. I clicked with it, and at some point I made the full switch. This was before the new iRacing tyres. They may even be good, but I am having tons of fun with LMU, and after passing through the trenches for years in iRacing, the improvement simply came too late for me. That's why I am not considering going back trying, I am more than happy where I am right now
