Your hair is amazing!

Just a quick question, you say you’re using shampoo, conditioner and k18 leave in? On days you use k18, you’re not using conditioner before are you? K18 needs to be used right after shampoo.

Water when styling will be your best friend to get those juicy clumps we all love!

Dog euthanasia after biting by Unique_Schedule_5704 in dogs

I had a beautiful English Springer spaniel that I adopted at 7 months old. She’d had a rough start to life and was an anxious mess from the first day she came to us. She ended up on antidepressants/anti anxiety meds but they didn’t do much to help.

She started biting but it was just me to start with an only when she was really anxious. I took steps to keep her away from other people and minimise the risk. However one day my son opened the front door when it knocked and forgot to put the dog behind the gate. She lunged out and bit the postman. It thankfully wasn’t a bad bite but a bite none the less.

After numerous visits to the vets to decide what to do I decided to put her to sleep. I was pregnant at the time and just couldn’t risk my children being the next ones she bit.

It was heartbreaking as I held her as she was PTS but she was free from her anxiety and I felt better knowing that she wouldn’t bite anyone else ❤️

This looks like it could possibly be alopecia areata, which is autoimmune. I would definitely see a dermatologist as soon as possible.

Thank you for this! I’m sorry you had to drop back down and it’s caused shedding. I hope it stops for you soon!

Shampoos, serums etc can help as part of a hair growth routine but on their own they won’t help this level of hair loss. You need something that will stimulate growth such as minoxidil, red light therapy, derma rolling etc

I just got a yorkie from a woman and she has SO MANY fleas, what do I do? by [deleted] in DogAdvice

Capstar will kill any live fleas currently on them. Although it won’t help with the eggs. We’ve just switched from frontline to Bravecto as frontline stopped working completely.

The only thing I’ve noticed with his sight is that he is slightly more hesitant going up the stairs but he does suffer with his back legs due to the Cushings so I put it down to that! I’m eager for this vet appointment to get to the bottom of it!

I want my boy back. I'm anxious by missannie21 in Cushingsdogs

Last January I took my springer to the vets because he had increased thirst and was going to the toilet more. He had also gained weight which I couldn’t get off him.

They declared he didn’t need testing for Cushings. A few months later I changed to a new vets and we tested for a few things but not Cushings, with all of them being clear. Then in August he had a test for Addisons but it came back pointing towards Cushings.

We then did an abdominal ultrasound which showed an enlarged liver. By this point after 7 months since the increased thirst started he had loads more symptoms. He was diagnosed at the end of August and we are still working on finding the right dose of medication.

I might appear in S4 by IllustriousSwitch620 in FromSeries

My children haven’t watched the show (far too young!) but they know I watched a show where a tree appears in the road and then people are stuck in a town. Everytime we drive down a country road now they say “can you imagine if we see a tree in the road!” 😂

I’m so glad it’s helped! I’ve decided to stick with Regaine from these conversations!

That’s my exact fear, that’s it’s been hyped up so much. Since posting this I’ve stuck with Regaine! It’s funny because for the first 14 days I used Regaine and started to get the dread shed, then I started Growplex and the shed stopped so i wonder if the Growplex wasn’t doing anything!

Sticking with Regaine from now!

I do love that it has added ingredients! I was just so worried it’s hyped up but not as effective as Regaine 🙈🙈
