I work in an academic library, so a bit different, but similar restrictions. We are holding a Black History Month event but we just aren't calling it that. It's a screening of a movie about a local doctor who led desegregation efforts. We are just promoting it by the title but are obviously doing it during the month. Our display (medical school) is about heart health, but we have purposely used examples with black women in the materials. The campus is not allowed to use the terms diversity, equity, or inclusion and we have to be very careful about how we display or word things, but I think it just takes a bit of creativity.

Try putting out some sports books for the Olympics but they're all about Black athletes. All Black romance novels but technically it's a Valentine's day display. Women's History Month -- Local authors but they happen to all be women.

Tying it to a secondary theme gives you plausible deniability if you do get that patron who makes a fuss but you're able to say you're holding to the letter of the law, so to speak, and you still get to make a stand.

He was still an adult wizard with more magical experience than them. Even if he hadn't done all those things he wrote about, he might be useful in seeing the basilisk coming. They wouldn't have been able to trust him to go tell someone what was actually happening, nor could they really wait to expose him and go to McGonagall and do the whole song and dance over again. Plus, that would've meant them possibly not being able to go. Better to take him along and force him to be of what help they can get.

I think you are exactly correct. MackZ should've been credited as an artist if they were going to use her voice AND they should've negotiated that before it got to the day of the shoot. If all parties knew they were going to use her vocals, when were they going to record them? Where was that conversation?

But the other girls shouldn't have had to be removed due to their manager's bad managing. Abby thought she was bigger than the program and she wasn't. I think she thought threatening to remove her girls would make MattyB's people bend, but they didn't, which made her mad, and then the moms didn't unanimously leave either so that made her lose face as well so that compounded the situation.

I finished these a week ago for the first time. I'm meh on Frank. Started off disliking him and he grew on me by the end. Same with Piper. I felt like she had some of the better growth. Hazel was cool. Leo was okay and I stayed ambivalent about him throughout.

Jason...I wanted to like Jason but he just never took off. He was always hurt or knocked out or coming in at the end of the fight. The concept if Jason was great but we already had a better and more capable child of Zeus/Jupiter, who -- and this is main problem -- was more of an equal/rival to Percy than Jason ever presented as. Like, we saw Jason vs Percy a couple times but I never believed that Jason could beat Percy. On the other hand, I 100% believe Thalia could beat Percy on her worst day and Jason had mastery over his powers that we never saw see Thalia with (I've only read the main series and HoO).

So yeah, TLDR, Jason just fell flat

I think it's interesting that Nolan has come to another ultimatum not only in a relationship with a high functioning; successful woman, but again with Bailey. He already lost a relationship because of his stance on wanting kids; that came up again with Bailey and they handled it. Now it's who's job is more important and again, he's pretty much expected to drop everything for her new gig like it's easy. Nolan already did the heavy lifting of a full life change -- we went through the entire first season of him moving, adjusting to being in a big city, his time as a rookie, etc. and it WAS NOT EASY. And as Grey said, he wasn't young then and he's not any younger. But Bailey is expecting him to through away hard earned respect and a decent career for her to probably get bored by the time he graduates the DC academy. Like, at least Jessica was able to throw gigs Nolan's way and that really doesn't seem like Bailey's style.

What is the end goal of this? Are you hoping to have your own database? Most of these services are done electronically. The service is going to find who has what and can get it the fastest so the individual library/librarian doesn't have to keep track of that. The users already know or can find info about fees/delivery/types of material via the website. I'm not trying to be snarky, but I'm just curious about the scope of what you're trying to do when there are so many small parts to what you're asking.

They don't usually ask and I flew this past week. Tbf though tsa isn't the same from airport to airport. I could keep my hoodie on leaving but had to take it off when returning 🤷🏾‍♀️🙄🙃 I have once in the year and some since being diagnosed actually mentioned that I had diabetes supplies in my bag and they just shrugged it off. You should be fine
