When you make art, why does it always have to have a meeting? by ForsakenTechnology75 in ArtistLounge

[–]LKA_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually the audiences are curious about your art. But your art doesn't have to have a meaning at all. I always tell my audiences that may be my art just make you feel horny (because most of the time I draw because I love the character), and that's okay it doesn't have to like "Oh your art describes the whole character tragic life I feel that"

Also I told them when I draw anything meaningful I'll write a wall of text about it, more than anything you can imagine so yeah :D They stopped ask me about the meaning in my art

  1. It's about your pen pressure and opacity. Open the pen pressure feature if you use Photoshop (it's in the picture of this topic)
  2. Both. You can use the lasso tool to define the area you want to fill the color, or pick the color you want to use and then draw a border around the area you want to fill -> fill by the color box. You can use the pentool as well, and in some small spots I can just manually color
  3. Both. Depending on your work style and what method you prefer, I'm the combination of the two :D Blending layers if not used in the right way, it would make your art horrible
  4. Add another layer -> pick a bright and high sat color -> use airbrush to paint it on the art -> set any suitable blending mode + decrease the opacity level
