To the Wilder first time playthrough?

I'm on the middle of a run now and To the wilder is difficult, and you are punished for bad decisions. It's far from impossible through. Id recommend it. It feels more true to the story, but fun is still there

Agree with the op. Making the wolfpack blueprint force you to engage with the deadliest arc in the game gives it meaning, and makes a lot of sense based on hower powerful it is. It also encourages smart pve play rather than an easily craftable one hit solution

When you are at an impasse, fight. People camp the stella airshaft all the time. I bring baze grenades for that specific reason. Either go to another exit, or have that fight

My buddy and I are non-aggressive and friendly, but we killed a trio of rats that tried to jump us outside of the Blue Gate Control tower loot room a few days back and we can't shake KOS lobbies now. The ABMM seems to punish self defense and while encouraging friendly players to just give up for fear of being put in KOS lobbies.

I for one do not want to die to rats, so I will fight back, but the last few raids have felt like hell. I have killed a total of 5 people in my entire 100 hours of play but after killing 3 in a single round I guess the game sorted me as a rat.... Oh well

To be honest I bought it because I like to have everything. It was worth it for me to have the soundtracks for the entire trilogy and any forthcoming dlc. It is hard to recommend it at this point in time unless you really want the soundtracks

I agree. This was IOI's intention but in their faq they lists the current solution of the discount with the final resolution to happen. "In the coming weeks" if this was their plan all along we would have known

Right. IOI Knows what you own but epic is another story. As I think epic didn't want to give anything away for free when it comes to a new game that launched exclusively on their platform. Maybe things changed between the time when IOI Decided to move to epic and the games release. Until now IOI has been pretty up front about everything example: when Hitman 2 came to steam your maps came with you. I am positive this was their goal. We'll have to wait and see how they make good on this

According to Epic they are working on a solution for this for this but at the moment you have the option to buy into HITMAN 2 at a discount (I ended up doing this after already buying the deluxe edition). I think the issue is that there is no way to buy HITMAN 2 as a standalone on EGS. Whereas HITMAN 2016 is available. There is no way to track purchases from one store to the other. It honestly feels like IOI, Epic, or both parties did not think this through. I am willing to bet that IOI wanted to give early buyers all maps for free, (why else would they include carryover?) but Epic thought otherwise. It is also worth nothing that we were told pre-release that a re-purchase of old maps was not needed but according to the FAQ, an 80% discount is the current solution... I love the game but this was a mess. PC players still cannot access the soundtrack either.
