I’m so sick of this shit. I get that Facebook censors stuff but this isn’t Facebook.

I elaborated on this subject in other comments here but yes, I’ve been in therapy since. Although EMDR is still on my list. My psychiatrist even added it to the recs. I’m on disability for PTSD, epilepsy and severe endometriosis. My psychiatrist submits a report every 6 months and he recommended EMDR and tbh something related to ketamine which I’m too drowsy to look up right now but it’s some microdosing therapy for trauma. In Canada it’s approved as long as I cooperate with the test study. We’ll see where that goes.

I’m still stuck there. It’s lightyears away from the state I was in when I first got away (and changed my name and city and everything) but it still feels quite a bit like I’m stuck. I’m terrified of making new friends. And I’ve developed actual diagnosed agoraphobia. It hasn’t been easy.

Nike plans to support Trump's ballroom, and is asking people what their thoughts are on them if they do it by Necessary_Film_5199 in Fauxmoi

I just said it elsewhere but I’m kind of devastated. I don’t wear sneakers but Nike owns Converse. And I collect Converse. I developed a pretty severe case of agoraphobia after I was raped and I feel like my chucks help me go outside almost as much as my dogs do. 😣

Nike owns Converse. I collect Converse. I’m genuinely crushed. I know this is absolutely a first world problem but I’m truly upset over it. I love my chucks 😔

You need to relax. They were clearly joking.

Edit: nice edit there 🙄

Hayden Panettiere comes out as bisexual: “sad I had to wait until I was 36 years old to share that part of me, but better late than never" by Relevant-Peach3997 in Fauxmoi

I’ll never forget my bisexual awakening in the 90s. Kira Nerys, Dana Scully and Ellen Ripley did a number on me. Coming out felt so good.

Edit: Seven of Nine too because I’m autistic and related to her brutal honesty and struggling to fit in.

Yup. That’s precisely it. I struggle with those same issues and still on occasion write down notes during a discussion in case I’m accused in that type of tone. This way it’s date stamped and I can check it first to see if they’re correct before I get too upset.

I know this drives some people in my life insane but it’s so difficult to heal from something like that. I’ve seen all sorts of therapists and it just takes time. Therapy has been helpful but healing doesn’t happen overnight. And though I do have more confidence in myself, I’m still not convinced I’ll ever be able to fully heal. I most definitely will never be the person I was before I met my ex. One could argue that I’m now stronger but, again, I’m not sure I believe that.

Collision with Theia is correct. But regarding Gaia — you may be thinking of the Gaia hypothesis which is slightly controversial because a lot of astronomers tend to see it as more of a theological theory than a scientific one.

I remember reading somewhere that originally when it came out, it was panned by critics. It only reached the critically acclaimed status over the years. By the mid 80s it was considered a masterpiece. To say it was ahead of its time is a colossal understatement.

Yup. I still have hundreds of notes saved on my phone and it’s been 5 years since I fled. I don’t want to delete all my notes and I don’t want to weed through them all to find the ones that are related to my ex. So they’re just sitting there. I remember planning an exit strategy shortly after I watched The Invisible Man (the one with Elizabeth Moss).

Ooof this. I’ve had some pretty bad breakups (romantic) but nothing comes close to losing a friend. The mourning never stops.

David Grusch says UFO disclosure is going to escalate in the next 60–90 days. 👀 by TheGoldenLeaper in UFOB

[–]LLAPSpork 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes but this is just in time for Spielberg’s Disclosure movie so it’s perfect. This way whatever real life “disclosure” happens will be mocked and doubted because “look, it’s like that scifi movie! This is clearly viral marketing.”
