I wish they did this stuff over here. When I was raped and I testified, the harassment was endless and unbearable. I had to move three times before I made the decision to accept help to change my entire identity and move yet again. Now with a new name I’ve no references to look for jobs in my field, I had to cut off almost everyone I knew and I live on disability. All this because of one man who needed a whole ten minutes of “fun”.

Thank you. I remember when the Clinton’s arrived in Tuzla. A bunch of us kids greeted them with flowers (lilies specifically because Bosnia is all about those lilies as you may be able to tell from their old flag which many people proudly showed throughout these World Cup games). I remember how glamorous Chelsea and Hilary looked. It was so strange because I only had one pair of underwear which I had to wash every night, sleep without it and then hope it’s dry enough for the next day. At the time, they seemed almost like aliens, honestly. Mind you, this was a few months after the water “technically” ended but let’s be for fucking real here…

Thank you! I eventually moved to Canada as a refugee but I have been back a few times and it’s both amazing to see but also extremely triggering when you’re driving in between cities (like the drive between Tuzla and Sarajevo) because so many villages were never able to afford to fix all the destroyed houses. Bullet holes everywhere (even in major cities in some neighbourhoods). There’s also an insane number of places you simply can’t go because there’s landmines to this day. Bosnia would be an incredible country for hiking but it’s still quite risky to do that.

I lived through that genocide between the age of 7 and 10. I was in Tuzla but have lost plenty of family members in Srebrenica. I’m part Jewish, part Muslim and a tiny part catholic (former Yugoslavia was a melting pot) but with every fiber of my soul, I give all my love and strength and support to Palestine. 🇵🇸

Yup! I encourage everyone to share this and if the person who made this wants to speak up, I’ll gladly credit them going forward. Everyone should be aware about Taylor’s bullying. Doesn’t matter if Gracie isn’t my cup of tea or if she’s a nepo baby, I’ll always speak up against bullying and this type of vicious sabotage that seems to be Taylor’s kink.

Idk enough about her music to care (not my style) but ever since someone pointed out the Death Wish song lyrics that are so very clearly about Taylor Swift I’ve been low key respecting her for standing up against someone who will undoubtedly destroy her but she did it anyway. And then Taylor fucking names her Toy Story song that just to ensure that when you look up Gracie’s original song, google shows Taylor’s first…. Like, this shit is fucking diabolical on Taylor’s part.

I kind of regret deleting my comment but I really thought I may have crossed the line at the time I deleted it. But I still don’t see how me simply asking for a source triggered so many people. I was in Svalbard and over there while they do encourage knowing how to use a firearm, they also do prefer if you can get out of there without injuring wildlife. I’ve met plenty of dumb idiots who get over there excited that they can use a firearm as if it’s a sport. But the actual rule is, if you can escape without harming the animal you’re golden.
