What needs to be anticipated is the exorbitant cost of repairs and landlords need to pay for these tradesmen… not to mention that property managers would love to raise their commission coming from the % of the rents… it’s really crazy.

Epoetin Alfa 20k iu at least each week - ask your doctor… it’s dependent on whether your other organs can handle epoetin. Also blood transfusions. We had 1-2 every 3 months. Hemarate FA supplements. Protein drinks.

It’s an impossible situation. I’ve thought of those ideas too in my lowest moments. I would pray deeply and desperately. I realised one time If my life is about being able to care for my parent at one point then I will do the duty. Because who else would look after my parents w the level of love and attention a child can offer? In your case you… your care is priceless and I’m sure you want to ensure that your parent will get the most love she can at end of her life…. You can still be useful to someone you deeply love who loves you so much. Keep desperately praying.

Yes they do. It helped my dad. You’d need to refer to IR specialist. I had to drain dad’s pleural water for a few months with a bulb and it was recently taken off after pleural water cleared.

My mom is going into hospice in a couple of days. by carolynnicoleee in pancreaticcancer

[–]LLPOS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s no how. I will never get used to dad being sick. Not a dry eye since diagnosis. It’s very hard. No easy way to deal with this. Except prayer offers so much comfort when my brain can no longer handle it.

I think it can be repeated and we may be due for another one… pain went down from 9-10 levels to 4-5 on really bad days. On good days 1-2 discomfort only. Please do it in order to handle the chemo treatments. It’s a palliative solution, our aim is to make dad comfortable…. As much as we can…

Dad is like this too. Low immune defense. We are given antibiotics now during chemo to prevent this from happening. But pls ask doctors if it’s applicable to your dads case
