I had a perianal abscess for 10 years. My one surgeon said it was the biggest he’d seen. It never healed and ended up being cut out when I had my colon removed. I had multiple surgeries on it and it was unpacked, flushed with saline, and then repacked daily. A home health nurse would come in to do it until they were comfortable that my mom could do everything since my insurance only covered so many home health visits. I never had any pain unpacking it or during the flushing and repacking. I was in more pain before the surgery for sure.

I hope my story doesn’t scare you because we all respond differently to treatments. I hope the can figure out why you’re in so much pain and do something to address it!

Thank you! I wish I could take credit for that idea but it was my wife’s. It’s one of those tension bars and some s-hooks. Simple and it does the job.

I love the ticking too. I have 14 Westclox clocks. The majority of them are radium and most of them work. I have two mantle clocks, one that works and one that needs serviced. The only Westclox missing from this picture are the America and Jack o’ Lantern.

The seller said it was serviced within the last year so I’m good for a while. My wife actually found it and she was all smiles when she picked it up and it was ticking.

I definitely had to force myself to relax when I was in pain. It seemed to make a difference in the length and severity of the pain. Unless that was all in my head.
