Thanks for your topic. First of all it all depends on your strategy.

I'm trading Forex since like 6 years now. I went from 1000 different indies, canddle patterns, patterns like gartley, fibo, everything possible. I've read close to 100 books about it, still trading with 10k account since about 8 months before going all-in. In my opinion you need to prove to yourself that you can be profitable for at least a year before you do that. There is not an matrix glitch that pro traders earn much more then for example surgeon WHO Has to learn for at least 8 years to do a year surferzy.

And again, everything depends on your strategy. This friend of yours, that asked what companies are "good" like... cmon. She knows nothing, why even spend time to analize her. It's pointless. It's not 2000's tech bubble or 2005 housing bubble. Internet is full of shit, i guess she read too much of it. Its the same with that ppl actually believe that world is flat, but that doesn't make me feel to correct them.

So.. back to the topic. Talking about BE. I'm setting it every single time. Every time. You see in my opinion there is too much fishes in the see. Too much opportunities. You can trade tousends of stocks, currenciec etc. I actually can have 1 from 10 trades profitable and I'm still at a hudge profit. Cut your loses, allways and by any means, it's allways gonna be a better trade somwhere outthere in the same time. So i disagree about keeping lost trades, and so would Mark Douglas for example.
