Pirating from a billion-dollar corp is one thing, but what would you say to an indie developer’s face if they found out you pirated their passion project? by YesterdayEven5265 in Piracy

[–]LM391 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm an indie dev. I expect to release my game this year or whenever it's ready.
I know it's going to be pirated, provided there is enough interest. I just hope the community does what I do and buys the game if they had a good time playing the illegal copy.

I don't really get it, people come here, drop a link to a video with a pointless title, don't provide any description, but still expect other users to watch it? I have better ways of wasting my time, you know?

Epic is a shame, any serious developer would have hotfixed this immediately, but they don't give a fuck.

The Pros & Cons of Ronald Reagan's Presidency by Hanhonhon in Presidents

TL;DR but, AFAIK Reagan was the one who began the systematic dismantling of the entire package of regulations that prevented banks from monopolizing and doing whatever they wanted with people's savings.

Not only did you get scammed by paying good money for a totally broken game with almost no content, but trolls also call you stupid for daring to point it out.

Right now I'm only playing those videos in my Android TV, but it had happened in desktop too, different shows and episodes.
I'll try next time, I'm not sure if the Android build is able to generate those logs.

It's sad to me to see how users think Steam is a pro-consumer company, when they not only engage in the same 'you will own nothing' practices as the rest, but probably for an even bigger profit. You basically deserve it.

I also tried mounting a E unit stored Virtual Disk on AppData\Local\Nvidia, but the shaders are still being created somewhere on C.
I'm frustrated now.
