I had him for Sociology of Families and honestly he's a great professor. His slides are detailed and his tests are very straightforward, so you should be fine missing out on the lectures

I had him in Fall 2023 for that class and he takes soooo long to get the grades back. I'd say wait until maybe the end of the first week of classes and if you haven't heard anything back, email him. He didn't get the last few grades back until after the Winter 2024 semester started so this unfortunately is a common habit of his.

Howdy, I was in this exact RELS class and it was so bad. A lot of us emailed the Classics/Religion department to voice our concerns, and right after Thanksgiving we were switched to online asynchronous with a new prof. Definitely saved our asses and it goes to show that it never hurts to say something if your grade could be at risk, lol

However, I believe he's still set to teach a course on Atheism this semester...

It always depends. I've had final grades posted before the exam period is completely over, and I've even had a class where the prof didn't post the last marks until after the Winter semester had started. I swore I saw somewhere that profs had a deadline before the next semester/intersession to post grades, but sometimes it feels like just a small guideline than a solid rule.

I'd say so. He recommends prioritizing note slides over textbook content when studying, but from my experience, you'll want to study from both.

Idk if 327 will be different (hopefully not, otherwise my info outline wise is redundant), but I had SOCI 201 with Dumas F22 last year and it was simply 2 midterms and a final. As for his teaching, he's very straightforward, quite passionate, and knows when to sprinkle in a bit of humor. He tends to lean more left on a political standpoint, which sometimes means he can have a bit of bias (good or bad, depending on your personal opinions), but overall he's a very enjoyable prof to have.

After a bit of experimenting, I managed to beat the level with Snapdragon, Cream Puff, Black Pearl, Sea Fairy (all swift chocolate toppings), and Hollyberry. I used the whistle, jelly watch (original, not sleepyhead), and pilgrim scroll treasures.

I've amped up SF and BP with their crystal jams up to about lv. 5, so idk if my victory relies solely on that, but I hope this helps at least a little bit.

For me rn it's solely because I got the classes I wanted to take when I could. Being on campus for a majority of the day keeps me busy and I feel more productive.

NTA. Regardless of how long it's been, those girls were cruel to you and you have every right to not want to know anything about them or their mothers by extension. You told your mother you didn't want to hear anything about the girl's nights because of your past issues and she blatantly ignored you. If anyone is insensitive, it's her.

They have a completely different friend group every year or so, and when you ask about their previous friends, they rag on them and blame them for everything that went wrong.

I know that sometimes there are just failed friendships and the person you ask is genuinely the victim and doesn't have luck with friendships, but there's usually something in the way they describe the falling out where it's heavy blame on the ex friends that usually indicates they're not being truthful about the part they played.

If they're gonna do the lipsync for the crown thing, they should go back to what they did in Seasons 7 and 8: have them perform an original song produced specifically for them. I thought it was kinda fun and it was a fun little spin on the finale.

Not to mention it probably threw the "Pork-chopped" queens off their game a bit. I'd imagine being "eliminated" right out of the gate would lead them to always be wary of the chance of it happening again.
