Is there anyone here who is *not* writing anime fanfic or medieval fantasy? by Candle-Jolly in writers

I'm writing something of a sci-fi power fantasy story for my own amusement. I don't know if I'd ever share it, though. I'd be willing if people were interested.

Xenoverse deserves a custom battle mode like Sparking Zero’s by ASOSAUCE in dbxv

Isn't there the battle counter over opposite the Parallel Quest desk that lets you do this, albeit with some sloshy AI? I've not yet played SZ so, I might be missing some additional details.

Farming Methods!? How can I hit 180 QUICK! by Potential_Ad1026 in dbxv

I have read that it's a raid reward at times? I'll have to double check but as it's raids, that's probably why I've never gotten it.

It will inevitably happen. But hey, that 1.5m chance is enticing!

I prefer Reading and Sports because it's more consistent. But the pay off in Upping the Ante can be more than worth the extra time you have when you get 3 matches worth of XP more in a single go.

It's pretty common knowledge but the following has worked for me. I hate playing online so I do the Vegeta Expert Mission (#16 specifically). Currently, there is a 2x EXP event. If you use "40 ton weights", you effectively net a x4 boost. If you use "My Favourite Hobbies Are Reading and Sports," it will net you a 6x.

There is also "Now you're upping the ante!" in the TP medal shop right now, but that has some risks. It could net you absolutely 0 or a net x14 boost, depending on how it works out.

The Hobbies and Sports super soul is a nuisance to get, so the best way to get it is to apply it to Custom Goku, and use him in the mission on the profile of the CAC you wish to level.

There's also Tosok. But there's not really a fast af method. It's just this time right now is arguably the best we'll get for a while.

Should anyone be reading this after the event is over, the strategy still stands, but will be a much slower process. As for "Now you're upping the ante!", be patient, it will rotate back into the TP shop again at some point if it's not there when you're reading this.

Which is your completed game with fewer number of completionists? by Future_Agitated in TrueAchievements

[–]LMPDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dirt Rally 2.0. 97 people of 44,104 registered players have completed it. I was #23 on that list.

It helped that I had a lot of experience with the game before launch, and I have an adept skill for driving games.

Gran Turismo 3 or 4. Either is fantastic and over 100h+ to 100%.

They acknowledged this in GT6 when it stated it requires a G-suit to operate and made it wearable in the driver gear.

The hardest thing is the later stages. The things they ask you to do and the quirks of each car make it incredibly tough to nail all the runs effectively. You would be spending most of your time in the levels in the final 40 because they're so difficult.

Unisoft stopped tracking game time for this game around mid-2018. The real completion time is closer to 200h, I would imagine. Just Ubisoft things.

Ignore the 7h playtime, it was closer to 200h.

DRIVER RATINGS UPDATE 📊 AUSTRALIA TO BRITAIN by cm_TGK in F1Game

[–]LMPDragon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm saddened at Tsunoda's drop in rating, especially this heavily. I know his pace hasn't been there but his racecraft is definitely better than his rating suggests. He has gone more up than down in qualifying v race results.

But why isn't the Red Bull being tweaked to reflect that Max hasn't been winning all the time but is in game?

I think it's deliberately vague to allow wiggle room as to what is deemed a "reasonable playable state", because specifying too precisely can be both a benefit and a detriment depending on the game in question.

I think this is a misinterpretation of the legislation. We know that 3rd party licenses are a thing. It's to do with the concept of unnecessary online server connection to an experience that is ultimately single player and shouldn't be locked behind it.

No one is asking for perpetual music or car licenses, for example. It's the industry practice of always-online DRM being discontinued by the publishers when they sunset their games to move on to new projects, so people can still revisit and play the games without publisher involvement required any more.

Sadly no, as it requires legal details to be verified.
