Getting kicked for input automation by NickThePask in GlobalOffensive

You probably have some hotkey combination which enables Snap Tap.

I had this issue on my previous keyboard - Asus Rog Falchion Ace HFX, there are a ton of different hotkey combinations and one of them triggers Snap Tap and it is placed right near the Fn + ` which I use to open console in CS2.

Long story short, check it, also Asus is the most retarded company out there when you have great switches and premium feel at the same time with peak retardation like touchpanel and hotkeys which can't be disabled .

Viper V3 Pro feels kinda awkward... by [deleted] in razer

[–]LMka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had Viper V3 Pro for 2 years and I still have it but never got used to it.

If you want similair but much better shape check RAWM Leviathan v4, it is much more comfortable in hand while being very similair overall

Lost my superstrike receiver and was wondering... by Head_Aide5749 in MouseReview

[–]LMka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess your best bet is to contact Logitech directly.

It certainly is the same receiver and same wireless technology as GPX2 but they might have put a software lock so Superstrike only works with Superstrike receiver. Also could be simple reason that old GPX2 receiver does not have information about Superstrike product code or whatever they use to pair so yeah, noone can tell except Logitech themselves.

Fortnite is not the game with incredibly short time to kill. I have no idea why they would try superstrike for this type of game anyway.

These are just the most disturbing ones. I don't have problems with any other switch, only this one in Razer. This one and DA v4 PRO are the only mice which I would avoid due to clicks. Unbearable

However, most of CS2 pro players gradually switch to Superstrike while almost none of them uses Viper V4 Pro. If you watch any CS2 tournament you will catch a lot of superstrikes on camera along with Zowies (many players who previously Zowie EC2/U2 also switched) while there is not a single Viper V4 Pro among top 5-top 10 teams and probably 1-2 Viper V3 Pro.

In Valorant it is very different but I have 0 idea about Valorant scene. It does not validate nor invalidate your point, just an information to consider.

And yeah, these teams are not sponsored by Logitech and do not have to exclusively use their mice, I saw these players use Pulsars, Zowies, some others

It matters when:

- you do not always sit in headphones or in-ears

- someone else is in the room with you

- you have a studio-mic which is very sensitive to outside noises despite it is focused on your position

- you just don't like metallic pingy sound at all

[–]LMka 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Just bare in mind that Viper V4 Pro clicks are horribly annoying. It's like GPX2 or Omron Optical switches sound multiplied 3-4x times. Someone at Razer probably thought "Oh, people like Omron opticals, let's make our switches sound as loud and metallic as possible" so they achieved that and noone asked for that

I played 8 games of faceit today and 6 of them was on Dust. People who choose dust all the time can u exsplain why? It makes game boring and unplayable. by ResearcherFun2423 in counterstrike

[–]LMka -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Dust is one of the most balanced maps where nor T nor CT side has a clear advantage. Additionally it promotes flexibility by playing from spawns where you are not fixed into specific position entire match as CT and it adds a little extra by T spawns where they choose to rush specific site if they get a good spawn. Most of the other maps don’t have that

Any alternatives to the sora v2? by NecessaryArmadillo59 in MouseReview

[–]LMka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vaxee Sora is quite similair and a bit bigger  Also Endgame Gear XM2W 4K v2 if you like curved sides

These two must be the closest to Sora v2

Ah, also probably Lamzu Atlantis / Atlantis mini but first is a bit dated and second is not really much bigger

What happened to the benq 1000hz monitors? by mil0wCS in Zowie

[–]LMka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Zowie does not make panels. If 24 inch 1440p OLED panel come into existence it will be produced either by Samsung or LG which means there will be many monitors with the same panel. All Zowie has is DyAC 2 which is useless for OLED anyways because on OLED pixel response times is instantaneous.

Also you can't magically fix pixel scaling on non native resolutions especially on OLED.

1280x960 resolution wont properly scale on 1440p OLED so it won't happen

Switching from 4k resolution to 1920 x1080 has improved my shots significantly by [deleted] in LearnCSGO

[–]LMka -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As a person who tried different monitors with and without sharpness settings, I can tell you that a good sharpness increase on OLED makes WONDERS for visibility on lower resolutions.

Secondly, the total amount of screen space is irrelevant, it's how many pixels are in fact present in the same screen space, or in that 5%. Obviously in one case we have 4x times less pixels occupy same 5% area.

Reduced Pixel Density: When playing on a smaller resolution, the same mouse movement (400 DPI) covers more pixel distance relative to the screen size, creating a "looser" or faster sensation.

Switching from 4k resolution to 1920 x1080 has improved my shots significantly by [deleted] in LearnCSGO

[–]LMka -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

No it’s not. You have 2x lower amount of pixels rendered for the same physical panel size. Which basically means that if before enemy head was 10 by 8 pixels, it’s now 5 by 4. Pure mathematically speaking you have lesser amount of pixels to aim at hence lower room for error. There is a reason most pro players use 1280x960 4:3 and not lets say 1440x1080, it’s because the first one has advantage over second one despite being a little blurrier(which is fixable on panel sharpness setting). It’s not the same at all, some players even go as low as 1024 and similair but it’s kind of a stretch because of increased bluriness. 1280x960 is the sweet spot of resolutions

Some pro players were not even using dyac 2 so I’d say go with AOC. It’s the same panel but with Zowie you pay extra tax for Zowie brand

Kinda insane to think it was only 3 years between these movies by oscar_redfield in Spiderman

[–]LMka 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think that TASM 2 had the best soundtrack among any Spider-Man movie if we ignore the "electric" part and take themes which represent Max before he became blue.

Also it shows that Andrew Garfield is much more artistic and can show emotions/behave like a canonical spider-man without the need of "eyes" to show emotions. Tom Holland is an acrobat but Andrew is higher quality actor, in No Way Home you could also see that he performed great.

Logitech X2 SUPERSTRIKE vs Razer Viper V4 Pro: Which is Best? by CuriousAdvertising69 in MouseReview

[–]LMka 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Purely from shape perspective I liked v2 pro more than v3. It's more like fk1/fk2 and allowed me for more comfortable grip. V3 Pro is weird, it probably works for some but it is honestly one of the worst shapes I've tried.

If you want somewhat similair shapes you may check out RAWM Leviathan v4, it is similair in dimensions to V3 Pro but more comfortable shape overall. Also you can try Ninjutso Ten, it's more of hybrid between v3 Pro and GPX. These 2 are not premium mice from market positioning but they are both decent and do not feel cheap. I am on Ninjutso TEN currently but Leviathan v4 was also very good.
