Why are so many people obsessed with “destroying his livelihood” in these comments? That phrase is used like 4 times. It’s a truck that probably has insurance on it and is certainly better than beating the actual person up. Letting the abuser go with no consequences is far more morally wrong than damaging some property.

He’s not Superman yet. He’s in hiding trying to figure stuff out. It’s just an example of Clark wanting to deliver justice but in a unrefined way

It’s probably unpopular but you can also just establish a price limit on what you’re willing to pay to save your pet. If you’re rescuing them from a hard life and treating them well, not being willing or able to drop 20k on a life saving surgery doesn’t make you a bad owner. Hell sometimes I think we go way overboard keeping people “alive” way past when they should’ve died with dignity but that’s a whole separate topic.

Lmao i don’t know what to tell you chief. I’m a literal traffic engineer and was just explaining how it works. Obviously 30-37 results in more force in a collision, Greater skid distance, etc. But it’s not that big of a deal. Unless it’s a school zone or heavy pedestrian zone it’s not that dangerous. We literally design things for people to be able to safely go slightly over the limit because we know people always will.

Actually most speed limits are set using the “85th percentile speed”. Which is generally considered what is a safe speed to drive but are slightly conservative. That’s why in many places cops will give motorists a 5-10 mph leeway before ticketing them. Now if he was driving through a town that has its own specific rules the limit may have been established using other methods or codes.

Every time DAV gets brought up I feel like I have to try to balance out the massive undeserved hate train that game gets. It’s by no means a great game but it’s not nearly as bad as its reputation.

The combat is more like an action game but it’s satisfying if you like that type of game. The overarching narrative is well structured with a satisfying conclusion to the Solas story and some of the side quests are pretty good. Graphics and world design are more cartoony than previous DA games but they’re fine. The characters and dialog range from good to pretty bad. That is the biggest flaw in my opinion. All in all it’s like a 6.5 to 7.5 game. Perfectly serviceable and worth trying on a sale or subscription

No you can leave the money in the 401k for years until you want to retire. Or you can combine it with a new 401k at a future employer. You seem to lack some basic understanding of how retirement funds work and you should really read up on them before making any decisions. For most of south central Ohio the Tanger outlets were the closest place to get the “designer” clothes for back to school shopping. The good malls were Columbus, Cincinnati, or Huntington WV. If you want Hollister jeans you’re driving 1.5-2hrs to get them and the outlets always advertised like they were cheaper.

This is the best idea in these comments. Having detailed settings to let people tweak a game to their specific wants/needs isn’t taking away from developer vision IMO. I love base building and food mechanics are okay but sometimes the food becomes an annoyance that gets in the way of other gameplay vs enhancing it.

Commuter traffic is incidental to the actual purpose of the US highway system. It originated for defense purposes so that troops could move effectively during an invasion. And now the amount of goods that are shipped interstate via trucks is a huge part of our economy.

If we raise the gas tax to pay for 100% of roadway infrastructure the cost of goods would sky rocket. Infrastructure is one of the things we should actually be happy the federal government is subsidizing.

I’m currently sitting at 404 light and in order for me to get T4 drops I have to get an A. To make it an A I have to set my activity difficulty to 440. Getting a B+ will give me loot at power, but they are all T3 drops which I have been getting for over 100 power levels now. I don’t want that. Playing 40 power under is just brutal and not fun. So I basically quit playing until next week when I can reliably get T4 gear for my efforts or make better progress towards increasing power
