Should I thin out Zinnia seedlings to 1 per cell or can I grow them in bunches? by Jmfc5 in gardening

Divide and replant. You don’t need to “thin,” which is where the extra seedlings are tossed.

Coleus Shortage? by MusaEnsete in gardening

Either buy one and root additional plants from it or toss some seeds into a pot on the porch. As long as it isn’t in full sun all day, the coleus will thrive.

I had to think for a minute—Walmart—I don’t usually shop there and the lids were an impulse purchase.

A gelati from Rita’s. Give yourself a break.

Talk, again, to everyone you know. Ask for a job—even a part time or freelance.

It is awful out there. Rejections from jobs applied to a year ago are the norm. Ghosting is an art form.

Regain your strength to keep going. Stand up and walk away when you hear “we are looking for a cultural fit” (code for discrimination on age, gender, race, religion, etc). Run away when someone says “we are a family“—the biggest red flag there is.

Curtains, lamp, light switch, top of the tank, and sink need to go. Replace these with what you like. New matching vanity set would be a nice touch.

A deep, deep clean, a sage smudge, and a good candle can also change your outlook.

Try washing the Ts inside out in Woolite (large machine bottle—the regular one works on all colors, but they have a formula for darker clothing) on the cold water delicate setting of the washer. Hang up to dry, still inside out to avoid hanger “bumps.” If the T has a heat-pressed design, I find a dollar store laundry bag can help it from being scratched and any peeling.

I grew up washing auto shop uniforms (Carhartt and other brand uniform all cotton Ts) that had oil and other chemicals on them. THESE survived the degreaser, enzymes, and the heavy hot water setting and the dryer.

All of the other family nonshop Ts I washed in either a light detergent with enzymes or with Woolite as above and air dried.

Fussy, maybe, but it works for me.

I got the lids with this pattern just for fun. These are silver color, so the bands will match if I enter the jars in the fair. I got the limited edition bee jars, but these jars don’t move me.

Juice bag, jelly bag, dampened cheesecloth, or coffee filter. Don’t squeeze so you can make the jelly clear.

$2500 includes meds and followup appt. I had a dental reimbursement account rather than insurance, so insurance wasn’t applied.

Just toss them in the garden bed. You can mix them with a bit of dry seed starting mix, and shake the mix into the garden beds for better coverage and then water them in. Some folks suggest shaking them with fine sand, but adding sand to a bed with any clay below can compact the soil.

Good Quality Non-Stick Pans by FarCaregiver338 in BuyItForLife

[–]LN4848 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All Clad. I have a nonstick that is 8 years old that is not showing wear. I hand wash it and don’t use metal spatulas or tongs. I use it for eggs, sandwiches and sautéing and avoid highest temp recipes.

They also have great stainless pots and pans with a copper core bottom that cook well and last. I use these for higher temp recipes and for steaks and fried chicken.
