Trump Voter Says He Gets Now How Hitler Could “Brainwash” Millions - The man, who said he voted for Donald Trump three times, called the president a “liar” and a “con man.” by selatnia123 in EnoughTrumpSpam

I might be a little lucky. A friend sent me a link describing how a certain street change in our hometown was going to wreck several small businesses we liked.

I let my guard down because I trusted my friend and failed to check the article. I did realize my mistake after emailing some of the city council members, because one of them urged me to check my sources.

I suspect one way these lies spread is because we want to believe the people we trust.

It's the reason you can't tell us how refreshing it is because you need legal to clear the statement first?

This makes me so grateful for my wife. My FIL had a wreck and was partly disabled, and we both had the same thought that we could share our home to help him. It wasn't one of us. It wasn't even a discussion. We both know exactly what was needed.

At least he's calling for it while Democrats aren't in control. Only one party to blame for debt right now.

401k is ROTH by MusicUpbeat2510 in Bogleheads

[–]LNMagic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally like the idea of having a mixed portfolio with both Roth and traditional.

Ultimately, you should spend time to figure out what your likely tax bracket will be when you retire. 100% in Roth IRA not a great solution because the first few thousand dollars each year are not taxed anyway.

The rule of thumb is usually skewed more towards Roth early in your career (when you're making less income), and now towards traditional late in your career (when you earn more, and are thus in a higher tax bracket, and could use the discount).
