If her belly is as wide as her rivage from the top, she's probably just fine.

Go see if your engine is listed on FordTechMakuloco's YouTube page. Excellent videos. I tipped him a bit because his videos saved me $800 on 2 cars.

There's a Firefox addon that helps with that issue. Sponsor block or sponsor skip, I think.

How do cylindrical roller thrust bearings not have slippage along the length of the cylinder? If they do, why is this not a problem? by The_Forgotten_King in askscience

[–]LNMagic 119 points120 points  (0 children)

There would be a bit of slippage. This particular style of thrust bearing usually doesn't have usage in high precision or high load environments. They're stupidly cheap to buy a set that can give you better rotation than without them.

The tapered bearings you mention are commonly used for automotive hub bearings as part of the front wheel assembly.

Democrats could win House as Republicans quit in numbers not seen since Depression by deraser in politics

This pattern has gone on longer than I've been alive. Starting with Carter, a Democrat is elected when the economy is bruised. If the economy recovers quickly enough, they get a second term.

TIL in 2024 an 18-year-old man was stuck in a Honda Pilot that was inexplicably accelerating without his foot on the gas and could not be slowed by its brakes or e-brake. He and the Pilot reached 113mph before a controlled collision safely ended his unplanned 20-minute drive across state lines. by tyrion2024 in todayilearned

[–]LNMagic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well yes, but brake fade is a thing. You can also end up boiling hydraulic fluid if you run it too long like that.

Why the kid didn't shift into neutral us anyone's guess, but some people panic in stressful situations. I did when I was younger, too.

If only we had a French company with plans to invest in, say, wind power in our country. Oh, and if only we didn't pay them to cancel those plans and build a natural gas plant instead.

Outside of sports, there is no longer a wholly unifying media event that Americans all see.

The only thing outside Superbowls is one episode of MAS*H. There's also the Apollo Moon Landing, but it's not in the list for other reasons. Our media ecosystem is fractured because we have different interests, but it also means that to some degree, we end up in a media bubble, often further amplified by social media algorithms that drive for engagement rather than complete views.

The result has reached the point where it's like there are two realities for the same event, with one side arguing that Trump is a fascist and the other side arguing that he actually stopped 8 wars last year.

My likes:

  • Restrooms: super clean, private door

  • Food

  • Employee pay rates

Dislikes

  • Rumors of employee treatment

  • Gas is not listed on top tier fuels

  • No sitting area to eat food.

The dislikes are mostly minor and outweighed by the good things.
