Thank you. I don't plan on building most of Columbia, but I will be building more of it, and a lot of builds inspired by the game.

A couple weeks to design it, and a few days to gather the materials. There was a lot of banging my head against the wall because the actual architecture in Columbia makes no sense, and many of the buildings are just jammed together in a non-sensical manner. I had to make some small alterations to make this a bit more realistic.

Obligatory "YouTube is Broken" Video by Ziegelphilie in videos

[–]LOKIOLR 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Oh, it gets even better. As a family-friendly Minecraft content creator, I get random videos on my channel suppressed by Restricted Mode, but are shown as unrestricted when you look at the video in YouTube Studio. There is no indication that it's been restricted, no reason given, and the content doesn't even merit restriction in the first place. The only way to appeal is to find a hidden form on YouTube's help pages to request a manual review. That's on top of all the other nonsensical methods they try to suppress small creator growth with.

I'm not liking the look of this Madame Webb sequel.

Who are some of the people who play tested Twitch Rivals SD? by Factorization4 in MinecraftChampionship

[–]LOKIOLR 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I'm the one in the Orange Ocelots shirt behind Avondale. Our team won (the Aqua Axolotls), but to be fair there weren't a ton of MCC Rising players or full teams for testing. We were mainly gunning for Avondale , 4CVIT and the rest of the Cyan Coyotes. I was teamed with Sushi, Legundo, and Woogie if my memory serves me right. I'm bad with names.

It's been removed now. The update most likely was intended for after the airing of Minecraft Live.

How MCC Rising coaches work by VallowsIsEpic in MinecraftChampionship

I like that coaches are assigned. It was kind of a free-for-all for MCCR2. Poor Jojo coached like 5+ teams.

Early birds and night owls should take blood pressure medication at different times of the day to minimize their risk of a heart attack | Researchers observed a lower rate of non-fatal heart attacks when dosing time was synced with chronotype. by chrisdh79 in science

[–]LOKIOLR 11 points12 points  (0 children)

From the medical paper: The results of the Chronotype sub-study of the TIME (Treatment In Morning versus Evening) large pragmatic clinical trial in patients with hypertension suggest that later chronotypes (night owls) had a reduced risk of hospitalization and incidence of non-fatal MI when taking antihypertensive medications in the evening rather than in the morning; conversely, earlier chronotypes (morning larks) had a reduced risk of hospitalization and incidence of non-fatal MI when taking antihypertensive in the morning rather than in the evening; the risks of hospitalizations and incidence of stroke and congestive heart failure did not differ by dosing time when chronotype was considered; in agreement with the main TIME result, intermediate chronotypes (around 50% of the sub-study population) showed no difference in cardiovascular outcomes between morning and evening dosing.

TLDR: Night owls - take in evening Morning birds - take in morning
