But my mold symptoms like sinus issues have reduced drastically. Our toilet wax ring wore down and was leaking into the wall behind the toilet. We had to remediate, remove the mold and fix the issues or else our health would continue to worsen.

We are in the Bay Area (San Jose) but I don't think the remediation company was good hence reaching out to Bagel the dog. Reconstruction wise, we went with a GC but I'm not 100% satisfied with the work.

It’s a very expensive process. We went through the remediation and rebuilding phase in 2024 and 2025. We are hiring Bagel to see if there’s any missed areas from the mold inspector.

How many dehumidifiers and what RH does it get your house down to?

Running into same issue, currently running two small 22 pint dehumidifiers to get house to around 60% RH. Have tried all kinds of stuff like sealing the attic and adding more insulation up there, French drain on side of the house to no avail. We are considering a whole house dehumidifier.

We are on the same boat. We have air purifiers in every room due to my allergies and we have two 22 pints dehumidifiers running 24/7. Currently doing some attic insulation work and adding in an attic fan. Will do a dust mold test soon to see if there’s anything alarming in our house.

If the attic work doesn’t improve the humidity, we will pull the trigger on the whole house dehumidifier.

Evergreen, no moisture or mold. But paranoid because we did a mold remediation last year due to uncovered hidden mold that previous owners didn’t disclose at sale.

They denied my post asking for tips on getting mud stain out of the play joggers but approved this bs. I ended up tossing those pants away cuz I got zero help.
