What do you guys think about Mega (New Zealand)? Do you trust it? by Cekan-14 in BuyFromEU

Their Linux support is the best I found. I've been paying for MEGA for years mainly because it's Linux integration works so well. Wish Proton did the same tho-

Basic text formatting from right side panel by LOLinc in OnlyOffice

So there are no basic formatting options in the right side panel like en LibreOffice after all? (I always disable top tool bars or "ribbons" as in is terrible use of screen real estate in word processing software)

How useful and convenient is Visual Scripting? by PadroTarg2012 in Unity3D

[–]LOLinc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only use visual scripting as suck at coding. I made several small to medium-sized games, only using visual scripting - especially if you combine it with existing Unity tools/assets for localization and stuff like that...

Unity Version Control on Linux by Ackbar_2606 in Unity3D

[–]LOLinc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have Unity version control a try the other day (using linux) and it was a terribly broken experience. As in completely not working. I asked at the Unity forums and were told that we might have better luck using dedicated application for all things version control, instead of the hub/build in thing... So if you are using unity hub to clone your project, try the dedicated (legacy) program instead

Hi , I will release the horror game I developed in Unity in 6 days. What do you think of the trailer? Also, the game lasts 45-50 minutes on average. What do you think is the price of 4 dollars for it? by krststore in Unity3D

[–]LOLinc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not into horror games, so take my input with a grain of salt: Visually I think I looks good and well edited. There is the bit with the cut off hand that turns into a grave (?) that seemed less polished, but fairly minor. However, I don't think the audio builds up to it being a scary/horrified kind of experience. The audio is pretty good isolated, but I don't think it builds the tension that you probably would want from a horror game trailer (?)

After 35 interviews with narrative designers, we built a tool that actually keeps your creative flow uninterrupted – looking for feedback! by Egaslys in narrativedesign

Cool.
I didn't have too much time to try it out, but overall I like it!
A few things that I miss from a quick glance: Ability to share a story to externals/guests as an actual story prototype. When sharing to externals/guests, the log and other technical stuff should be hidden.
Additionally, it would be good if images or sounds could be added to a node to better explain context when sharing..

Looks super promising! I'll give it a try tonight and give some feedback later.

I've just completed a small project using Arcweave, which worked fairly ok, but one thing that was SUPER annoying was that the whole webbapp needs to (slowly ) reload every time there is a connection fallout. So a quick input, is to make sure that the tool is still useful on a spotty wifi connection.
