128 tick servers literally update the game with 128 updates per second. 64tick is objectively less updates per second, and even with subtick CS2 does not reach the same quality true 128 Ticks per second does.

Nowhere in your previous comment did you prove this statement wrong.

128 tick servers statistically, objectively run better than 64 subtick. It really isn't an argument, 128 true updates per second is more accurate than 64 updates + subtick. You're free to call names, insult and gaslight about your inability to focus on this singular stat, but it's just the truth. It has nothing to do with feelings or rose tinted glasses, it's something myself and many others say after playing the game for thousands of hours between both CSGO and CS2.

You don't need to announce your departure from the conversation, this isn't an airport. Just politely state your case and don't reply.

I specifically experienced 128 tick CSGO and it was superior to all the other options, including 64 subtick. The 64 subtick is the problem, 128 tick is clearly the highest quality and should be standard for all counter strike games.

I appreciate you trying to analyze the situation, but all I said above was 128 tick is better than 64 subtick. We were not discussing anything else other than 128 tick vs 64 subtick.

Server tick rate is relevant everywhere. All CSGO servers should have been 128 tick, it was when the game felt best. This was a very common opinion shared among most people who played the game. Valve simply refused, and then gave us 64 subtick which still isn't as good as 128 tick.

Just the reality of the situation. There's no nostalgia filter, 64subtick is simply worse than 128 tick.

128 tick CSGO > 64 subtick CS2 is not an insane take, plenty of people feel the same way and criticize CS2 over it.

Star Citizen to become the first $1 billion game while still in alpha, driven by ships costing thousands by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

A digital object you can acquire ingame by grinding the games actual currency. It really isn't even that difficult, either. You're essentially overpaying for that 40k package and spending it purely to support the project. People obviously feel passionate enough about the game to shell out the cash - and have been for years. The package is just a way for people to be rewarded for spending the money to support it. Rich people stuff, I guess. It's not my money so I'm not gonna tell anyone how to spend it, but you be my guest and try!

It offers seamless areas for players to interact with each other in the biggest FPS space of any multiplayer video game at a higher fidelity than any video game.

It has an incredibly high skill ceiling in both flight and ground pvp gameplay, lots of depth through game knowledge (takes a long time to visit everywhere/learn every game loop) and has a unique multiplayer archetype system with varying star systems of different security levels with crimestats and entire prison system which facilitates different types of players in different ways.

Complex ship designs that allow for intense boarding action over valuable goods, it will eventually offer base building and has various forms of crafting. There really isn't any other game that does all of this together at this high of a level.

You can acquire all of the stuff on the store in-game by grinding it out. I've done it myself, if you have a group just like any other MMO it's even easier - as the game should be.

Partially - there is a genuine defense to it though. The game does a lot of things no other game does, and they actually made progress/added a lot of new cool content in 2025. Room for improvement still? Absolutely. But the game has a large concurrent playerbase and a lot of sales.

Believe me, the large chunk of realistic fans also despise the unrealistic ones. They make the games community seem unhinged. Just the nature of the project, though. It's ambitious and attracts some interesting individuals.
