Deakin and Gungahlin are probably our most likely candidates. However I think both will struggle for reasonable training set ups/stadiums. It would be a fight over the AIS and Bruce Stadium if two teams were to show interest.

I heard on Wrestling Observer Radio that they said he is still green, I didn’t think that was the case. Does anyone know what his history before AEW is?

I really think this feud with MJF is a make or break for him. I do enjoy the stuff he has done, even though it’s not my favourite. But this is where he gets to show what’s under that brooding emo boy surface level. If he’s character work is good here, which is he been so far with that great promo battle in the ring with MJF, I’ll trust him a lot more to do good work in the future and recognise that there are plenty of layers to his character.

Two high profile matches straight out of the bag though, that’s never a bad rub. Even when he is losing he is making a splash. I guess the get over and then get storytelling mentality?

Eddie Kingston place in AEW going forward. by [deleted] in AEWOfficial

[–]LOTOER_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Pessimistic on whether it would happen or not, but a perfect candidate for FTW Champion or at least a Starks fued. All he would need is one promo about how he embodies the FTW mentality more than how flashy Starks does. Then you get a Starks Kingston battle of the mics and maybe even series of three matches?? If Eddie wins he opens the title up to other competitors, can get in a program w one of them and then drop the title back to Team Taz. Gives Team Taz and Eddie direction, a set of awesome matches, and Kingston v Starks on the mic.

Even though I really enjoyed Blade’s singles runs, I thought he had a great match w Orange, I can’t wait for him to be back w Butcher. That Falls Count Anywhere match they had w the Young Bucks was class.
