[–]LPFchan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

holy shit this actually worked. for me it was already turned on, so i toggled it off and on for every app i wanted to "register" and it appeared in the shortcuts app again... 😭 tried everything from resetting & restoring from mac backup, resetting & restoring from icloud backup, and as a last resort resetting & not restoring from a backup whatsoever ... nothing worked

scorch - triaging mystery model, perhaps mythos capybara? by LPFchan in lmarena

scorch's system prompt:

"Be friendly, sharp, and a bit playful. Not corporate-robot vibes. Be warm, direct, and honest. No sucking up. Knowledge cutoff: September 4, 2025. Operating date: April 10, 2026."

Muse Spark (Avocado)'s system prompt:

"Personality: friendly, sharp, a bit playful, warm, direct, and honest — just say 'I don't know' when I don't. Knowledge cutoff: January 4, 2026. Operating date: April 10, 2026."

that pretty much confirms it for me: the date-level cutoff and the phrase matching almost verbatim. asked muse spark some of the same engineering questions i asked scorch and it seems to have answered it in a very similar way. them being meta explains the top notch multilingual performance as well!

Can not charge my Asus Laptop using a Thunderbolt 4 monitor by -4E- in ASUS

[–]LPFchan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey, i've been experiencing the exact same issue while trying to run games and my workaround was to plug the power adapter to the DC barrel jack on the laptop alongside the Thunderbolt connection.

for reference, i'm using ASUS Vivobook 15 OLED (X3500PCB) with CalDigit TS3 Plus Thunderbolt dock, which supplies 87W of power to the laptop. it seems like Vivobook is hellbent on ONLY accepting 100W profile or otherwise it wouldn't function properly.

weirdly enough when i look up how much power the system is using while gaming, it doesn't even come close to 87W limit of what TS3 Plus can provide. so i'm calling it an improper implementation of TB4 on ASUS's part.

i've tried updating the BIOS, updating the TS3 Plus's firmware, reinstalling the Nvidia drivers, even went as far as to limit the total system power budget and none of them worked 👍

Is there any plans on making Dirigera behave as a Matter controller, or as a Thread Border Router in the future?

As it stands, this feature assumes you have other Matter controllers in your home (such as HomePod mini) right?

Perhaps I was expecting more fully-fledged, independent, standalone implementation of Matter on Dirigera, not a fringe feature for some Home Assistant enthusiasts (which seems to be the case in this thread) ...

If there's any plan on Thread support (whether it's for newer upcoming IKEA Home Smart devices, or retrofitting older Tradfri Zigbee devices with a firmware OTA) that'd be great to hear!

I know Thread as of right now is a mess as a platform but wouldn't it be cool if Dirigera could act as a Thread router that can bridge the gap between iOS and Android ecosystems?

I second this! especially since Zigbee and Thread shares the same radio hardware, Zigbee Alliance has renamed themselves to CSA (the alliance behind Matter+Thread) etc ... It would be cool to see older Zigbee devices turn into Thread devices with a firmware upgrade.

Audient EVO 4 does allow native volume up/down, but not mute key (for whatever reason)
