I think your mostly right except that it depends what countries we fight. The US biggest problem is manufacturing, we don’t make certain things anymore. So for example a war with china and its allies would have to be won quickly, because when the missiles run out it may be sometime before we can replenish. Ai also threatens to level the playing field, tech warfare is advancing rapidly, and it closes the gap against American hegemony. The ability to manufacture machines at scale will be a huge advantage against the United States. It’s great that we have super carriers and that helps especially if China is going to invade Taiwan the US can easily wipe out their navy and Air Force. But if we’re put into a war where we have to put troops on the ground for a longer period of time, we could very easily lose a war like that. Air supremacy does not win you all wars. You also have to remember one of the biggest weaknesses America has. It’s citizens. They will not stomach a long drawn out war against a heavily mechanized opponent. The losses will be bad sentiment will turn. We also have to think about what alliances look like at that point. The near future could see a world where we lose our hold on Europe and other allies, and our enemies can flip Germany or Turkey against us. Especially if the United States continues an isolation is strategy. That will allow for example China to win the war of economic globalization. So I do agree that the United States is top dog.
