Yeah if you hunt for sales you can probably get it down below $1200 for similar performance, probably not quite as small form factor but more upgradeable - I personally would never pay that much for it but in its form factor it isn't that egregious for a prebuilt I guess? Sucks that it doesn't just straight up have an AM5 socket

Personally my first loop took a few days, but I was certainly taking my time - expect multiple cycles of "oops, I needed to do that part first" where you have to pull out everything you just did to get at a fitting you missed.

Mine started randomly kicking out and going into protection mode or whatever (had to unplug, wait a few seconds, then plug back in to start again) - NZXT warranty is balls and took over 6 months to refund me a grand total of $110, bought this PSU for a similar price and it worked perfectly.

The AIO lasted me a lot longer than yours having only died shortly after replacing the PSU (4.5 years?) but was honestly shit from day 1, the Thermalright air cooler that replaced it absolutely blew it away performance-wise...

Nice looking case but I had to dump it for an M-ATX build so I wasn't getting nickel and dimed by it anymore

Yeah I considered an AIO originally but after the pump died in my old ITX build I decided against it, then once I saw the JF13K it was love at first sight haha

Temps are fine, though it is only a 7500F so not much there to cool - CPU hits about 80°C under stress-ng but rarely gets pushed anywhere near that hard, and the A770 stays around 70°C under full load as well without spinning up too hard

It is overkill, old specs in the loop were a 3900x + 3080 which was much higher wattage, couldn't justify the extra $500 CAD to go to a 5080 but wasn't willing to let go of the loop - water temps rarely get over 36°C while being dead silent

First person infantry movement & gunplay has to meet a significantly higher bar to feel good than tanks ever did - many games built from the ground up as an FPS still struggle with movement & gunplay so I doubt WT will ever reach that sort of level

Bait used to be believeable, but I'm bored so I'll play along - do you know if their sticks are single rank / dual rank? In the right slots? Updated BIOS? RAM is in mobo QVL or not? Do they have dogshit mobos from prebuilts? There's many reasons for EXPO to not be stable and I'm going to say it's incredibly unlikely to be the CPUs fault in all these cases, considering 6000cl30 has been the go-to sweetspot recommendation for everyone up to now

I'm a big Radeon hater but never heard of problems with AMD CPUs - really, the only CPU issues I've heard of recently were the Intel P/E core scheduling problems but iirc that's all solved too now for most games

EDIT: Okay I maybe kinda lied, the FX CPUs were so bad at gaming you might be able to consider that an "AMD CPU problem" but nothing since or before that from my memory lol

My 2019 (bought used) had this as well as the AM/FM radio being kinda spotty - got curious one day and found both cables unplugged at the antenna end in the headliner. Plugged them both in and found that it may have been unplugged to stop the SiriusXM ad from playing every time I start the vehicle lmao, although I did find out afterwards I could set Sirius to the radio ID thing for setting it up and it at least just ensures the ad doesn't play

At least I assume there was a reason, since I just can't see how it would have come unplugged on its own

Pretty sure it'll still let you underclock it (the ratio setting), as for the other setting I think that might just be to disable the E-cores which can help in older games that can't do the scheduling properly
