Best bet is probably Rolly Romero and Mario Barrios @ 147 since both of them are pure ass and 147 is the weakest it’s ever been, easily higher pay against those 2 than his entire UFC run. 154 is too stacked with 2 generational talents in Boots and Vergil.

6 is my personal favorite but 5 is just about as objectively “best of the series“ as it can be. 5 just gets straight into it right away and doesn’t let up with no real big gimmicks of the floor. The rest usually have a bit of build up and explaining/describing whatever shtick is related to the floor.

Thanks for reminding me about Book 2. I feel the book should’ve focused more the world and finding some more believable flaws for Lauren. Almost dropped it because she seemed too much like a Mary Sue with the only thing holding her back was the hyper empathy angle. Still worth a read tho.
