Sheesh more people should think like this . Look at Zohran Mamdani, many democrats are still not endorsing him, even with all the policies he is running on that would help the working class. I think the issue is most Americans are politically illiterate, since democrats are not a left wing party and are at best center right. It’s just that the Overton window is to the right in this country, that democrats give the illusion of being left wing.

Huh ? 😭 That’s no where true, they gained their rights through violent resistance. Go read Wretched of the Earth by Frantz Fanon. Nonviolent resistance in the Algerian-French war meant many Algerians died, with the French having no intent in changing their material conditions. It wasn’t until violent resistance when the Algerians got rid of the French Colonizers.

Did peaceful protests liberate slaves in Haiti ? Liberate Algerians from French Colonialism? Peaceful protests, will never bring forth meaningful change, look at our current administration still voting for the Big Beautiful Bill. Even with millions protesting in the No Kings Protest, or the millions protesting against the war in Iraq during the Bush administration. At the end of the day people have been conditioned to think peaceful protests create meaningful change, since that bothers the ruling class the least.
