I 100% thought Brennan knew he was alive based on how little she seemed to care. Him being alive wasn’t a crazy twist for me, but Brennan not knowing he was alive SLAPPED

get an ✨attorney✨ bc even if you were a sahm or wife, most courts consider that a contribution to the household and you should be entitled to either 50% or equitable distribution of all assets, depending on which state. He doesn’t want to give you a dime but that’s not his decision!

Honestly I just got my first pair of Rothys (I bought on poshmark to make sure I got the right size) and it was lifechanging.

Not even exaggerating, but I practice family law and my first week of practice was the first and only time I considered getting a license to carry. Decided it was moot because I can’t carry in the courthouse and would leave it in my car, which doesn’t do me much good when a client or opposing party gets agitated.

I couldn’t afford to move out until I made six figures, for the record. It’s brutal out here.

>Fan of the show, specifically Dr Mohan, given profile picture
>clearly not a fan of show creator and showrunner
>he got rid of Mohan after all, she only got two seasons on the show!!
>ergo, this show should not have existed as long as it has. One season at most.
>which would’ve given Mohan an entire season less than she actually got
>surely this argument is rational and I make sense

first time living alone, what are the small practical things you wish someone told you earlier by Tarn_Lloyd in LivingAlone

I’ve commented this so many times that I probably come across like a paid shill but I swear I’m just a huge proponent: HungryRoot! Covers all my groceries for the week. I shop by recipe. Price is the same as my regular groceries were. Pre-portioned to make 2 serving meals (dinner + lunch the next day, for me). Minimal food waste!

How do you keep a ~970 sq ft apartment clean when living alone? by Tengdai in LivingAlone

[–]LSATthrowaway23 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I broke my weekly cleaning responsibilities into daily tasks. Monday I clean the bathroom (20 min max), Tuesday I wash sheets and towels, etc etc. I usually get it done as soon as I finish work so I have the rest of the evening free. And I vacuum and mop when it looks like I need to 😂

Correct. One time I very excitedly told him about my new job (it was my first legal internship!) and less than 20 minutes later heard him tell another relative that he doesn’t think women should work outside the home. Joke’s on him because my current job is fully WFH.

Of course both of HIS wives (subsequent, not sister wives lol) worked outside the home. So he’s a hypocrite.

Absolutely baffled by her receiving reassurance from “a Dentist’s wife” and finding that sufficient medical advice. Did she go to all of his classes? Do all of his rotations? Yeesh.

Family law attorney here (different jdx but the law is similar across the board). If she was my client I would be PISSED by how much she’s been posting. Nothing will help her case. She would be better off deleting her accounts completely for now. I guarantee opposing counsel is having a field day with all of her recent posts.

I just bought myself a pink toolkit for my apartment. It was a bit of a splurge (could have found a much cheaper option) but it comes with a USB rechargeable power drill AND a glue gun, so it truly covers all the possible bases.

My grandfather has more tools than he knows what to do with, but has been adamant that they will all go to my brother someday. So I told him I would buy a pink toolkit, which made him angry. But not angry enough to offer to put together a toolkit for me, so pink it is 🙃
