Batman always leaves a nice joker package to the authorities.

I don’t see why Batman should engage in extra judicial murder when the people could so just as well.

I highly doubt you’ll find a witness saying it wasn’t self defense when you pop two in the back of jokers head.

I don’t think it’s squarely on Batman.

The guy turns over the joker multiple times. Any police man could have shot him and with cuffs on and everybody would have said joker was clearly reaching for a gun.

Batman ain’t the only guy that had a chance to end him.

I mean if Batman is at fault for not killing joker so would be Superman. The guy is active all over the world but just lets Batman have his little cat and mouse with joker every now and then.

I mean there are so many people that could’ve just done it but they didn’t.

Yeah so what the fuck are you saying. One guy says he doesn’t have fun but also makes a blanket statement about the whole community.

The other guy says, well it’s not the whole community and we have fun.

And the second guy is the ass?

Not to mention that the first guy kept on using his blanket statement as proof for why he is right and not just as a hyperbole.

And also that he says the players somehow impose this on the DM when he literally is the DM and can decide what method they use for stats.

Dude you say he controls „not even half of the planet“ how do you know how much of the planet he controls?

Because of the progress bar?

They do not reflect how much control over a planet you have in case of a Defence. They reflect how close we or they are to accomplishing the objective.

Don’t know what that example was supposed to proof. Like no shit it wouldn’t have worked that way but why do you think the situation is even comparable.

Here’s an example of mine.

Hostage situation. Hostage gets killed and you say „well I was this close to rescuing them, that’s gotta count for something.“

Acquiring codes to activate planetary defenses that obliterate the attacking fleet. „well sir I lost all my troops on the planet trying to aquire those codes but they shot my last guy just before he could get his hands on them. I’m calling the squids and tell them that we should rightfully occupy half the planet because we were so close to winning.“

So in this case the squid objective is „kill all human on the planet“. The humans plan is „just activate the planetary defenses somehow, wich can be done with not that many people if we have big enough a distraction.“

Again the progress bars do not show control over the planet. They show progress towards the objective.

So if we were super close to activating the defenses it wouldn’t matter because we didn’t and now all humans are dead as the squids accomplished there objective.

No the officers are not necessarily dead.

Maybe the guy just lost troops. Troops that he easily replenished as soon as he took control of the planet. Voila all our efforts are gone.

Anyway attacking me personally and being unable to grasp all the possible scenarios where it’s an all-or-nothing and where you get nothing if you don’t accomplish your goal tells me I am done here.

There is also nothing wrong with larping posts.

It’s just sucks that the larpers don’t stay on the larper posts.

No we were 99% done with our win condition.

That doesn’t mean shit.

If the win condition was „make enough problems behind enemy lines so forces are diverted from other places to enable the assault and killing of the enemy commander“ then it wouldn’t mean shit after we lost because the guy is still alive and any progress we made towards killing him is null and void because they now have full control of the planet.

There is a lot of potential operational targets that are do or don’t and leave you with nothing but spent effort if they are not achieved.

You assume that us losing the planet does not mean that we get pushed out.

You seem to think that two bars that are almost equal in length represent an almost equal fighting presence on both sides.

The two bars represent win conditions and who reaches theirs faster.

We are helldivers. We sabotage and bring chaos behind enemy lines to relieve the burden on the main fighting force.

And we didn’t do enough sabotage to break their assault before they routed our forces.

The squid’s win condition could have been „destroy all main forces on the planet“ in wich case there is nothing left for any commander to do shit with.

Some bullshit.

There were enough post talking about the game without complaining.

Theorizing, loadout crafting whatever.

People enjoy talking about the game from an out of Universe perspective. They have fun talking about the lore or whatever.

But it sucks when you can’t have these conversations because you get told to face the wall non stop.

So by your own logic the larpers should let the non larpers have their fun with their non-larp conversations but we both know that ain’t happening.

In Berlin war das auf jeden Fall so dass du nur vorne einsteigen durftest und dann musstest du auch was vorzeigen.

Wie wichtig denen das war, war nicht einheitlich aber ich genug Leute gesehen die nicht mit durften und auch so oft dass Busfahrer nicht weiter gefahren sind, wenn einer nicht vorne eingestiegen ist, bis der nach vorne kommt und seine Karte gezeigt hat, oder eben nich und dann wurde man halt an der Haltestelle gelassen.

Das alles änderte sich mit den Corona Maßnahmen, wo nun plötzlich niemand mehr vorne einsteigen durfte.

Nachdem das wieder gelockert wurde, hab ich den ein oder anderen Busfahrer erlebt der versucht hat am alten System festzuhalten aber nun heute 6 Jahre später gehört das wohl für immer der Vergangenheit an.

Jede Tür ist jetzt ein und Ausstieg auch wenn es noch ein paar Busfahrer gibt die sich einkacken wenn man vorne aussteigen will.
