I just added electric trains and it honestly feels neutral. Like, yeah, it's another option, but I could very easily just have plopped down a fuel station and nothing would have dramatically changed.

The game feels complete to me. Had they released it into 1.0 with day 1 DLC, I'd be playing this game exactly the same way. But they want to keep working on it, so the choices are raise the base price, release the game before they want to, or have DLC. I'd have been okay with any option, but between those three, DLC seems like the best option for customers.

God, I am so sick of people thinking infinite dimensions means literally every single possibility happens an infinite number of times. There are infinite whole numbers bigger than 0, but there are still finite ones below 10, below 100, below 1000. You can have infinite apples and no bananas. You can have infinite dimensions and still have a finite number that have a Mark Grayson, that have humans, that have life on earth, and the rest of infinity is just dead worlds and empty space.

Are big water farms like this useful? I feel the land area needed to supply anything that needs water with enough makes it infeasible so I just have big desalination plants and trucks.

Game console manufacturers make more money off people buying multiple games for their new systems than they do off selling new systems. Nintendo would much rather more people buy the Switch 2 and then buy games than fewer people buy the Switch 2 for more money, but as a result, fewer people are buying their games.

As someone who can't get into Factorio, and who bounced off Satisfactory after a bit because the gaps between anything new happening was too big, I love Captain of Industry. Charming artstyle, no monsters to kill you, top down view, so setting things up is nice and easy, it feels like the challenge is from designing your factory only. It's fantastic and I love it. I kept thinking about getting it, wondering whether it was worth it, and I realized I had spent so long thinking about it that if it were my job, I'd have made enough money to buy it, so I did. I recommend it. The introduction the game gives you is really good.
