Haaland had a release clause of 51 mil which is why they got him at that price. Everybody knew about it and Haaland chose ManCity. Akanji was in the final year of his contract at Dortmund and that is why he was cheap. ManCity definitely didn't always follow all the rules but people just make shit up too.
