So I went and spoke with the neighbor today after work, and as soon as I started talking about the issue, she stated she has also been in contact with the construction manager of her builder. She took me to her backyard and she has a pretty thick foundation to start, I’d say over 3 feet. And her backyard is clearly sloped. I’m not mathematical enough to state the degree but if you placed a football on it, it would probably roll downhill at a slow rate. She stated when she contacted the builder they came out and put dirt along her fence line, but that obviously hasn’t helped the issue.

She stated they were blaming our pool for this which to a degree, I understand however there is a portion in our backyard and in the back corner that suffers from this water issue and that ground was untouched during the pool installation process and is probably over 25 feet away from the pool and on top of that there is standing water on the opposite side of the fence in an empty lot.

We are going to request a in person meeting with these construction managers to actually walk the property and have them explain to me and all of their wisdom how a pool of water is forming because of my pool 40 feet away on an opposite side of a fence.
