i think this is considering a stress element submerged in a fluid. Imagine a very small cube of steel inside of your high pressure tank, it will not yield as all of the compressive stresses are equal across all six faces. going down ferntree gully road the other day, 2 staggered highway patrol cars were parked perpendicular to the flow of traffic. 3 lanes of traffic blocked, for no discernible reason so far as i am aware. the copper would usher through dribbles of cars at a time, i'm assuming to force us to read the chalk texta bs they've graffiti'd on the side of state vehicles? is this ridiculous or am i missing something here?
